*spoiler* Tips for "Can't Touch This" :Modern Style:

I'm here to help since this trophy is a pain in the ass.

1) Try to get better at controlling modern Sonic and Classic Sonic
2) ALWAY attack Time Eater as Modern Sonic. I never use Classic sonic since it hard to dodge time eater attack when you getting close to him.
3) If your ring meter is below 30 and hear a beep saying that ring is close to reaching 0, then go to the classic version of the battle and boost your way to the ring or wait until you find a rows of rings and boost in the middle (so you can act as a magnet and attract those rings)
4) Alway hold as Modern sonic to catch up with Time eater.

Here are some tip to dodge Time Eater's attack:

Homing missile- Use Modern Sonic and should be easy to dodge. Stay a one spot and when the missile get close, then move around it.

Debris- At the beginning of the battle, Time Eater will summon ruin object to block Sonics from reaching to him. Move at the top of the wormhole and it should be kind of easy to dodge them. Use the other Sonic to help you out. Hold to charge classic Sonic and destory 3 of the ruin object that is near to modern Sonic. Hold to charge Modern Sonic to destory any object in a straight line when using Classic Sonic. (I think when you hit Time Eater twice, The debris won't respawn anymore) *Many player has confirm that hitting any debris won't affect the process for the trophy. Testing it now to confirm it*

Arm Attack- When Time Eater's arm are real close to your Modern Sonic, it going to swing at you. Move over or underneat the arm to dodge it or switch to Classic Sonic.

Laser- It be best to stop holding to be safe and move all the way back for the laser to not able to reach you in Modern Sonic battle. As for Classic Sonic, it be best to switch to Modern Sonic.

Giant Clap- When you about to hit Time Eater, he will attack you with his hand as a final desperate move. Here are his hand movement:
1) Before you hit him, He will attack you with the bottom two hands. So when you get near him, i suggest that you stay up where his hand won't reach you and don't let go of .
2) After you hit him once, He will use his bottom hand again. SO remember to stay up when you get close to him.
3) After your second attack against Time Eater, He will lose his bottom hands and will use the top hands. So remember to stay below him this time.
4) After your third attack against Time Eater, don't get near him anymore. Dodge all his attack until the meteor. You will see why.

Slow: When he lose his bottom hands, Then he will be using this attack from this point on. Time Eater will freeze time and summon 2-3 wave of homing missle. Use Modern Sonic to dodge all those missile but it you feel that it too hard to dodge this time, Then switch to classic Sonic when it get too close to him.

Meteor: When you hit Time Eater three time, then he will use this to destroy both Sonic for good. (be patient and dodge all the other attack) When he summon it, then the screen will show a display of +. Push it and DON'T LET GO OF THESE TWO BUTTON!!!!!!. Hold the button until it show a cutscene.

got this an hour or two ago, did pretty much all that's written here, took me about 15 retries lol. Only red rings left for plat atm.

Just thought I'd mention that running face first into those floating chunks of scenery is A-OK!

Me and my brother both took a few to the face and came out with our trophies regardless.

Can confirm this. Hitting the debris does not void the trophy, only the Time Eater's attacks itself.

And me too, you can rush through every debris like a Kamikaze, you will still get the trophy no problem. Finally got it...now I only need Eradicator for my platinum (yeah I know it's weird. It glitched on me)...gotta erase my save file now...

Thanks for the head up. I need to see it myself before i change anything else and if this true, then i will change that part and it will make getting the trophy alot easier.

I know you want to confirm it yourself, but I can also attest to the fact that you can hit the debris or the tunnel and still get the trophy. I took two pieces of debris head on applied directly to the forehead and still got the trophy.

Also, the only way I was personally able to dodge the laser was to switch to Classic Sonic when he started the animation of firing the laser. That way, he ends up firing the laser outside of the tunnel rather than inside of it. I just never had the skill to avoid it, even with slowing down, so that may be another way you could add to dodging that damn thing, as it killed many an attempt of mine.

I also can conform that debris does not count has a hit, I just got the trophy, and the laser tip is great!
