Sniper Elite Difficulty

Every shot the enemy shoots WILL hit you if you're exposed! And yes, a few bullets and you're down. Not many checkpoints either.

Enemies will actively try to flank you when you are spotted, and the limited ammo on Elite difficulty can make dealing with them challenging at times. 2 shots from an enemy sniper will kill you, and in later levels they fire at you faster, giving you less time to hide. The check points aren't too bad really.

What would you recommend for me who finished Black Ops and Modern Warfare 3 campaign on Veteran and has 4 Spec Ops missions left?

I noticed playing 1 level co-op on sniper diff. that it doesnt say it in the mission select screen. Anybody doen this trophy in co-op, or does it have to be solo? That would be damn stupid for an co-op game

I'd say go for Sniper Elite difficulty right off. I did and it was really satisfying when you nail a difficult shot judging bullet drop. It's not that hard and I don't have any problems with checkpoints. Quite enjoyable IMO.

I finished sniper elite difficulty first. There are some trouble spots but just take your time. Do your best not to be seen by ground troops. They are the ones that come at you and bum rush you.

well you're about in exactly the same place as I am in MW3 then... three more spec ops then plat for me. I would say start right on Elite difficulty.

I've completed the game on Elite first. But I played the demo on that difficulty hundreds of times before I got the game, so I got plenty of training.

It was still f***in' hard. The enemies seem to have x-ray vision and will kill very fast once they've spotted you.

EDIT: If I had read this thread before trying it on elite I'd be afraid. Just do it and you'll see it's not hard at all.

What I did on the demo was starting on marksman - custom difficulty with real ballistic and no assistance (to get used at aiming) and then going for Elite.

The trick is to not get out into the open. It is a stealth game with the except of the snipers shooting at you. If you sneak around the ground patrols you missions are a lot quicker.
