Mz. Ruby or Clockwerk. I died to both multiple times, I had to get golden horseshoe to beat Mz. Ruby because I always failed at the same spot because the game didn't register the button pressing or something.

Also the music is off-synch from the original game.

As much as I like the music for the Mz. Ruby fight, it was the most frustrating. Fighting Clockwerk, while much harder, was a bit more fun.

With Mz. Ruby, it's easier when you memorize the pattern beforehand. And in the end it's good to remember that Ruby will swipe her tail (which can still kill you).

Some tips to Clockwerk:

-You can change the controls of the Jet pack (if you prefer that up is actually "up" and down is "down").

-1st wave: Easy, just evade the missiles and shoot the bird to the different parts of its body. Don't move all the time, it's actually easier if you keep still and evade when the missiles are coming.

-2nd wave: The rings are coming from the left, from the middle and from the right. Note, that the last "twirl" (not sure if that's the right word) of the ring is just a bluff, so don't make any sudden movements. Actually you basically only need to move to the left and to the right (not so much up or down - except when firing). Start shooting when the fourth ring is coming so that you've time to get as much damage as possible.

-3rd wave (on the ground): Start running at the same moment as you hit the ground (let Bentley talk). Then just run/jump (remember to press "circle" at the end of the jump) constantly until you reach to the point where there are these lasers on the "bridge". Now wait a moment until proceeding. When you reach to the head of the boss, just keep hitting like crazy and soon it'll be over.

For me the hard est boss was clockwerk. Third phase was really tough to figure. Personally i found Ruby fight really enjoyable and easy.

Both the clockwork and Ruby managed to really piss me off. I guess that the Clockwork is actually tougher and Ruby was more of cheap challenge.
