PSN Trophies?

I rented this collection awhile back, but returned it before finishing Sly 3. So I was wondering if I buy the PSN version will the trophies start a new Sly 3 file or will they count towards the original trophy data?

As long as you've got all the saved Data you can pick up right where you left off.
The only difference is one is a disc copy while the other is a digital.

this. You will still have your original trophies.

Glad it counts towards my old trophies. It would irritate me after finishing the game to see one Sly 3 at 100% while another Sly 3 is only at 4%. I just wasn't sure if the trophies would be treated like a European title and be given it's own set of trophies.

I actually just downloaded this game today and it wouldn't read my save.
