Introduction
This is the second game from the creators of Sly Cooper and the Thievius Racoonus. When we first left Sly, he had defeated Clockwerk and the four other members of the fiendish five. Sly's adventure this time has him and his gang going after the Clockwerk parts so that they are not put together again and cause mayhem in the world again. This is a much needed improvement upon the first game, giving you the option to run with the button and having a chapter screen instead of using the van/hideout as a hub to start a mission or a chapter. This takes action/adventure to another level compared to the first one. You are in an open world game within each episode having the option to start a mission when we feel like it and leaving the bottle collecting to a single episode, not different levels within an episode. You can still collect bottles in each episode for an extra technique. This time around you are more of a thief as you can now pickpocket coins and sell items on the ThiefNet, lurk from the roof and hit thugs from the skies making this Sly game one of a kind.

Step One
The first step is to play the game as normally and hold off on buying any items from the ThiefNet until you have obtained the Loot trophy; to collect 1,500 coins. You need to have that many coins in your possession at one time. After you achieved that trophy you can proceed to buy the specific items from the ThiefNet that corresponds to the specific trophy. I would advise using this link to find the clue bottles if you want to get that out of the way during you first chapter. This time around you get to pickpocket thugs and take coins/rare items from them, so I advise to do that as often as you can so you can collect as many coins as possible. Find the valuables located around the map in each chapter to net more coins and sell them on the ThiefNet.

Note: This is a great method for purchasing power ups/gadgets. Play the game straight to the end and buying only the necessary power ups/gadgets that are required for each mission. (You will get a message on your screen when there is a gadget/power up that is required for a specific mission.) Load up an older episode (maybe episode 7). Proceed to purchase the specific item until you have no more money, then exit to the XMB (Not to the main menu of the game). Load up the game, rinse and repeat until you obtain the trophies associated with the power up/gadget. Thanks for the tip king_of_kickz.

Step Two
There shouldn’t be a step two, since most of the trophies will come from playing the story and buying the specific items from the ThiefNet. Happy hunting.

Please see Soda Popped for more information. All the bottles can be found if you just listen for the noise they make. Thanks Eric-B14.

Soda Popped
Collect 30 clue bottles
I would advise using this link to find the first 30 clue bottles in the first level. It would save a lot of time in the next chapters. The clue bottles can be found throughout the game, but with a game like this it's best to get it out the way so you don't lose track of the story. You will have to collect all bottles in one level. Here is a video to help you if you want video assistance. Credit to Neonfoxletsplays for making the video.

You Look Great In Pink
Purchase the Diablo Fire Slam from ThiefNet
To purchase this ability you will have to go to the hideout, move to the left to Bentley and go into the ThiefNet. This is Murray's ability. This power up is available in episode 8 for 2100 coins. With this Power up you can throw a heavy object downwards and create an explosive force with the element of fire. The slam is just the same attack with an element of fire.

Rocking It Shell Style
Purchase the Hover pack from ThiefNet
To purchase this ability, you will have to go to the hideout, move to the left to Bentley and go into the ThiefNet to purchase. This is Bentley's ability. This gadget is available in chapter 6 for 1200 coins. This gadget gives you an extra boost to fly upwards with the help of a slight boost of fire. Once you use the hover pack and in the air, you can't use it again until you touch ground again. The hover pack is extremely useful and should be obtained as soon as you obtain the Loot trophy.

Pink Fire Flop
Purchase the Raging Inferno Flop from ThiefNet
To purchase this ability, you will have to go to the hideout, move to the left to Bentley and go into the ThiefNet to purchase. This is Murray's ability. This power up is available in chapter 5 for 1150 coins. Another power up that adds the element of fire. The raging inferno flop allows Murray to set enemies on fire and instantly kill several regular enemies at once. This move can only be used while in the air ( to jump), and the flames it generates are directed towards his front.

Big Spender
Purchase the Paraglider from ThiefNet
To purchase this ability, you will have to go to the hideout, move to the left to Bentley and go into the ThiefNet to purchase. You will have to buy this ability anyway so this is story related. This is Sly's ability. This gadget is available in episode 5 for 600 coins. This gadget lets you glide in the air, after you mad a jump in the air press the button to open the Paraglider. The paraglider is required to finish the game (Sly has to use it starting from episode 5).

He Is Flaming
Purchase the Fists of Flames from ThiefNet
To purchase this ability, you will have to go to the hideout, move to the left to Bentley and go into the ThiefNet. This is Murray's ability. This power up is available in episode 1 for 400 coins. Please hold off on buying this power-up until you have earned the Loot trophy. Murray's gloves now have the element of fire. The fists of flame will put the next enemy Murray hits on fire, instantly killing him (except for bosses and other special characters). This power is very useful when Murray needs to kill a regular enemy quickly.

Somebody Call A Doctor?
Purchase the Snooze Bomb from ThiefNet
To purchase this ability, you will have to go to the hideout, move to the left to Bentley and go into the ThiefNet to purchase. This is Bentley's ability. This gadget is available in episode 3 for 550 coins. Please hold off on buying this gadget until you have earned the Loot trophy. The snooze bomb causes enemies caught in its blast to fall asleep. This is just like Bentley's standard time bomb except now you can put them to sleep, but it cannot be used while he is in the air. It's the same as his sleep darts. Bentley is completely immune to sleep gas, so he can walk through his own snooze bombs without fear. Press to assign the bomb to a button.

Artful Dodger
Purchase the Combat Dodge from ThiefNet
To purchase this ability, you will have to go to the hideout, move to the left to Bentley and go into the ThiefNet to purchase. This is Sly's ability. This power up is available in episode 2 for 600 coins. Please hold off on buying this gadget until you have earned the Loot trophy. With this power up Sly can quickly jump to the left or to the right. The combat dodge power up can only be used in his combat stance, and even then it doesn't help him avoid many projectile attacks at close quarters.

Reptilian Robber
Defeat Dimitri
Mission related and cannot be missed. This is a straight forward battle with Dimitri.

Loot!
Collect 1,500 coins
You must have all 1,500 coins once. So I would advise not to purchase anything until you have obtained this trophy. If you are having trouble rounding up the required coins for the moves, I suggest either finding the rare loot items hidden around each episode, or go pickpocketing for items as they sell for a decent bit of change and the enemies carry better loot for you to pickpocket as the episodes progress. You will know when a person has a rare item they pocket will shine bright. Canada is the perfect place to pickpocket for rare items and finding the rare items around the map.

Thank you o0DENSE0o for the list of special Items, selling price and locations.

Episode 1

  • Gold Painting (232 coins) - In Dimitri's office, inside his nightclub.
  • Crystal Chalice (153 coins) - Behind the turntables near the main doors of the discotheque.
  • Ivory Jewel Box (205 coins) - On a balcony in the courtyard in front of the discotheque. Run along a cable from the top of the fountain to reach it.
  • Jade Vase (246 coins) - On the balcony at the rear side of the discotheque, above the exterior dining area.

Episode 2

  • Ming Vase (249 coins) - At the back of the guest house, within the open walkways at the rear.

  • Burial Urn (354 coins) - Trapped loot. In the cave underneath the waterfall in front of the safehouse. (To keep trapped loot, bring it back to the safehouse before the timer counts down to zero.)

Episode 3

  • Glass Flask (352 coins) - Near the two large gears by the upper waterfalls along the outer sides of the temple.
  • Golden Scroll Case (402 coins) - Trapped loot. On the upper ledges of the temple walls. Slide along the high vines from the tall trees to reach these ledges.
  • Gilded Scepter (447 coins) - Trapped loot. On a high ledge on the temple walls. It can be reached by sidling along some narrow ledges and climbing up some vines.

Episode 4

  • Crystal Ball (504 coins) - Trapped loot. Inside the central fenced-off yard at the prison.

  • Jeweled Crown (652 coins) - Trapped loot. On an upper exterior walkway at the castle.

Episode 6

Remote Trigger
Purchase the Trigger Bomb from ThiefNet
To purchase this ability, you will have to go to the hideout, move to the left to Bentley and go into the ThiefNet to purchase. This is Bentley's ability. This power up is available in episode 1 for 200 coins. Please hold off on buying this power up until you have earned the Loot trophy. A manually thrown item, the trigger bomb is a remotely detonated version of Bentley's standard time bomb, plus it can be tossed. After a trigger bomb is thrown out, press the button again to detonate it. Trigger bombs will stick to most surfaces, but they will automatically explode if they fall into water. One trigger bomb may be thrown out at a time. Press to assign the bomb to a button.

Sneaky
Purchase the Silent Obliteration from ThiefNet
To purchase this ability, you will have to go to the hideout, move to the left to Bentley and go into the ThiefNet to purchase. This is Sly's Ability. This Power up is available in episode 6 for 1300 coins. Replaces Sly's standard neck-breaking stealth kill with a terrifying warping stealth kill. The silent obliteration is much more effective because it makes his stealth kills completely noiseless. This cannot be removed once you buy it. A great move to have to take out enemies without being noticed. Purchase as soon as possible. To use this Power up press and then to execute.

Bird Dentist
Use Murray's strength to open Clock-La's mouth
Mission related and cannot be missed.

This was my method for purchasing the upgrades needed for the trophy because I just played the game straight to the end and purchased the required ones for the specific missions so I ended the game with about 4600 coins.
So I loaded back Chapter 5 in the safe house and purchased what I needed for the trophies and if i didnt have enough coins for another upgrade I needed I would quit to the xmb and continue to purchase a different 1 till I got all the trophies for upgrades because the game doesnt save after you purchase something as long as u dont exit out to the main menu.

This works for 2 & 3
