So Sleeping Dogs is bound to have plenty of them, at least, I hope it does. I've encountered a couple so far, one of which was a radio advert for Panau as a holiday destination! I thought that it was cool of them to put in.
I also noticed you could buy a birdcage with a dove in, to put in your apartment in North Point, possible nod to Hard Boiled? Has anyone else found any yet? |

I dont know if this is similar to what you mean or not...
If you do a crime in public ppl will call the police.. I saw one lady taking her mobile phone and calling them... And once there is an inocent person injured or killed the ambulance will come Also i stole a taxi and stopped in a location.. And someone came and sit in the back seat and ask to take him somewhwere.. Wei told him "do i look like a f***ing cab to you".. And the guy went out of the car running.... I luaghed hard on this xD |

The name "Tong", probably a reference to a certain important guy in Deus Ex: Human Revolution which was published by Square Enix

That's very cool, I expect a hell of a lot more movie references in this game! |

This might be on other radio stations too, but I heard it on SAGITTARIUS FM, there is an ad from the Panau tourist board, referencing many locations from Just Cause 2 like the Three Kings Hotel. So apart from the Just Cause 2 bonus outfit, JC2 and Sleeping Dogs also exist in the same universe, awesome

The outfits you get as rewards for certain milestones have HK movie references. You can get the classic yellow striped tracksuit Bruce Lee wore in Game of Death, a jeans and black shirt with cut-off sleeves combo like the one Jackie Chan wore in Rumble in the Bronx, and the classic no shirt/pants combo that Bruce Lee/most martial arts stars wear in movies like Enter the Dragon, etc.
