For people having trouble with An Ensemble Cast
, I'm almost positive it requires randomly selected teams, not just unique combinations of characters. I sorta tested this by making a 3 person team using every single possible combination with custom assists (assuming position of the characters on the team doesn't matter, e.g., Philia, Peacock, Double is the same the same as Double, Philia, Peacock) and no trophy popped. Next I did alternating teams of 2 and 3 using random select and it popped after about 10 matches. Can anyone confirm random select is required, or was I just unlucky? |

OK so I just got the Ensemble trophy... but in a one-on-one match. Here's what I did.
- I followed some of the posters here, mostly that of Joe111's post #44 for about 50ish matches and even took the extra few seconds to use a custom assist that isn't part of a charcter's default selectable assists. Got nothing. - Took a break from this trophy to just go for getting pallette 9 for a character by spamming one-on-ones. - I picked "Play Again" twice and at the start of the 3rd match, I somehow got this trophy with a big "WTF, I thought I need to be in a team match" thought. Yea wish we could have the ppl who developed this trophy give an explanation cuz this didn't make sense to me at all.

Setsuna, please add this alternative Marie strategy for those having trouble:
Also an easy way to beat the final boss(Marie) if you are having trouble with a character, is to set the game to 30 seconds, hit her right away for only a little bit, I'd say only 20% of her health so that she stays in the same 'mode' as the start of the battle, then back into the corner and hold back/block till time runs out. I wasn't good with 2 characters and used this method. let the past be the past

"It would also be advised to play with the default 99 seconds so that you can deal with Bloody Marie without losing because of constant chip damage however if you are good with passively attacking Marie you can set the timer to 30 seconds and deal roughly 25% of damage on her, enough so that Marie stays in her first stage and you can just block the rest of the match."
