Online Status

I was thinking of getting this game but i was wondering if the online is still active, do people still play the game and how easy is it to find a game. Thanks

The online is dead. I tried getting online to play a game and not able to get a game going. It just sits me in a lobby with a couple of other people waiting for more players. After an hour of trying, I gave up.

I take it back. I did play online the last 2 days long enough to get the 25 extermination wins trophy. My advice is once you do get into a game, do not leave until you are finished playing for the day. It is very hard to get into a game, and once I quit a game to try and find another, and took me over an hour to get back in. Anyway, Extermination can be frustrating and playing 100 games of it is gonna test my patience. My record is 25-9-2, so not even half way there and already sick of it. Then there is the 25 wins of Creatures vs. Soldiers.....

Might just stick with 95% of the trophies to save myself the agony

I got Singularity in August and got the plat in the early October iirc. It was hard to get in a match even then, and now the people who were playing for the plat got it and left, and it's dead.

I don't know what you guys mean... I have played this game for the past 6 days for about 3 hours at a time and it takes about 3 minutes to get like 16 people in a game.

What mode are you playing?


I've not had any trouble with Extermination and managed to get my 100 wins over the course of four days. Creatures vs Soldiers, however, seems completely deserted.

I've been able to get into a few Extermination matches but I've only gotten into one Creatures Vs. Soldiers match. Fortunately I got in late and my team won but I still need to win 24 more.

Finally got my plat, somehow got all 25 wins in two days. It really helps if you're the host, you can keep a party together for a while. I just left it on in the background and did something else while I waited for players to join.

The online is mostly dead, however, thanks to the recent sales on gamefly/price drops everywhere the online has some life left to it. There have only been 2-3 times out of the 10-15 times i've tried that i haven't found a game. Normally there are only 2-3 games of extermination, and 1 CvS (if your lucky) game going.

My advice (specially for CvS) is to stick with the game as long as possible, also to do the plat NOW while you still can, i doubt there is going to be another opportunity again.

I'm rather suprised the online is COMPLETELY dead, considering there are other games with a small population still alive that are 10 times worse then this...

Makes me sad, good game is going to die off completely soon

the bad thing of this game is that it seems it was made to achieve money for another game due to the simple storyline, lfiew multiplayer maps and low graphics in my opinion.The multiplayer is fun but geting to a match is hard so my advise is to search for a match and watch tv or do something while it´s searching.I´ve got the plat in the summer and haven´t played this game since but it would be worth it if more time and effort was invested in it.
