i was wondering since i read its usually dead at night if its possible to boost alone if i rent a second copy like is there a certain amount of people (more than 2) needed to start a gm?

yeah you need 6 to start a game. 1 on 1 wont work unfortunately.

Once a game starts, the player count can drop below six, which happens often, given how one-sided most matches turn out (lower-level players will usually try to quit and rejoin onto the winning team). A match doesn't end even if an entire team quits. So, uh, have fun puking on allies and roaring as you run down that timer.

Actually, you will need 6 players to play the next match, so even if the game starts and the player count go under 6, you will have to wait in the lobby when the match ends.

Anyway, as there are enough people playing it (and it has a fun MP!) you can try to play or AFK host the game.

Blame SONY and their friend list limit. Now Playing (Coop): Nothing Boosting: Far Cry 2. TODO: GTA4, CoD:WaW (DLC). Others i can borrow: Crysis 2.
