SingStar Dance ~ Trophy Guide and Road Map
If you have found this or any other threads that I maintain useful and are compelled to join this forum as a consequence, please give me a referral upon signing up by clicking here. NOTE: This guide will focus on the SingStar Dance DLC trophies. For the trophies from the base game: Click here for a road map and trophy guide Overview + Estimated trophy difficulty: 7/10 (the base game is around 9.3/10) + Offline: 6 (1 2 3 )+ Online: 0 + Approximate time: 5-10 hours (depends on your skill to obtain 9323 on hard, and length of the tracks you dance) + Minimum number of songs danced: 100 full length songs in dance partner mode + Difficulty Affects Trophies: Hard mode required for I love to watch you dance, Tony + Missable trophies: None + Glitched: None + Cheats: None + Required accessories: ![]() TWO Move Controllers & Camera As an alternative to buying the SingStar Dance Game, you can do it this way:
Road Map Step 1: Two for Tango Start dancing to Normal (full length) songs with a partner in "dance partners" mode, and keep dancing till you dance at least 100 songs total. You and your partner can repeat songs as often as you'd like, it doesn't need to be 100 distinct songs. Also, it doesn't have to be in one session. If you do this with the track "Baby Love", this step should only take about four hours. After your first song, you will get Dance Starter. As you are doing this with a partner, you will also get Swing your Partner. After 50 songs, you will unlock Dance 'till you drop. After 100 normal (full length) songs danced with a partner, you will get Let's get together Step 2: Dance your butt off Look at your high scores, and see which song you scored highest in. You need to step up your dancing till you can get 9323 (or higher) on hard difficulty. When you beat the score, you will get I love to watch you dance, Tony. Step 3: Your golden shoes If you haven't unlocked Golden footsteps yet, dance away on Easy mode, and be sure to dance properly to the section of the song with the floor glittering gold. There are 10 of these segments in each full length song. After you performed 1000 golden moves successfully, you will get this trophy. Last edited by TigerLust; 03-02-2013 at 01:29 AM. |

Trophy Guide
(Trophies are ordered in the manner suggested within the road map.) Dance Starter ![]() Play your first dance song Simply dance to any song, and you will get this. Swing your Partner ![]() Play on any 'normal' length song in dance partner mode See Let's get together. Dance 'till you drop ![]() Perform 50 songs Self-explanatory. You will get this while going for Let's get together. Let's get together ![]() Perform 100 'normal' length songs in dance partner mode Click "Play Singstar" > "play with friends" > "dance partners" and then pick any dance enabled song in "normal" (full) length. Note that songs under three minutes long will not have a choice of short/normal and counts as normal length. Once you have danced 100 tracks with a partner, this will unlock. You can keep dancing to the same song if you'd like, it doesn't need to be 100 distinct songs. In the core game, it only counted progress of tracks with each singer obtaining at least 1000 in points. There is no in-game method to check your progress, but it is presumed to also only count if each dancer obtained at least 1000 points. For the record, if you play on easy with two move controllers in one hand rotating in a circle constantly, you will obtain that easily. I suggest starting with whatever songs you like, and if/when you get bored, grind the rest out with the shortest track. Dancing "Baby Love" 100 times will take around four hours; while dancing "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" 100 times will take seven and a half hours... Here is a list of tracks from the disc, ordered by song length 2:36 Diana Ross and The Supremes – Baby Love 2:43 Kid Cudi vs Crookers – Day ‘N’ Nite 3:00 The Jackson 5 – I Want You Back 3:00 Gloria Gaynor – I Will Survive 3:10 KC & The Sunshine Band – That’s The Way (I Like It) 3:21 *N Sync – Bye Bye Bye 3:27 La Roux – Bulletproof 3:35 Lady Gaga – Poker Face 3:42 Blondie – Heart Of Glass 3:43 Salt N Pepa – Push It 3:44 Ricky Martin – Living La Vida Loca 3:47 The Backstreet Boys – Everybody (Backstreet’s Back) 3:48 Soulja Boy – Crank That 3:52 Jamiroquai – Cosmic Girl 3:53 Shaggy – Boombastic 3:54 New Kids On The Block – Hangin Tough 3:55 Reel 2 Real feat. The Mad Stuntman – I Like To Move It 4:00 Outkast – Hey Ya! 4:02 The Pussycat Dolls – Don’t Cha 4:02 Pitbull – I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho) 4:08 Paula Abdul – Straight Up 4:11 Gwen Stefani – What You Waiting For? 4:12 Run DMC vs Jason Nevins – It’s Like That 4:15 Sir Mix A Lot – Baby Got Back 4:17 Chris Brown – With You 4:18 Kool And The Gang – Celebration 4:19 MC Hammer – U Can’t Touch This 4:25 Black Eyed Peas – Shut Up 4:26 Gossip – Standing In The Way Of Control 4:27 Cyndi Lauper – Girls Just Wanna Have Fun I love to watch you dance, Tony ![]() Defeat our resident dancer! - achieve over 9322 points on hard mode on any 'normal' length song Select the hard difficulty, and match your "dancing" movements to the on screen prompts. You don't need to actually move anything except your right hand (with the move controller) to match the hand on the right side (stage left) of the avatar on screen. Think of it like a mirror of your right hand, and get your actual hand to mimic it's mirrored hand on the avatar. This trophy is hard, unlike the rest of this DLC. You need to not only move your hand to the correct spot in height, depth and width - but you also need to angle the controller precisely and match the timing. Try to find a song with a minimal amount of actual dance movement, so you can master a smaller segment of movements to get this trophy. See Let's get together for info on track length. Also consider the dance style and speed. For example, if you are a robotic ramp agent (who's job is waving in planes with orange light sticks), the tracks by La Roux and Lady Gaga have been choreographed with you in mind! maca3000 got 9882 on OutKast - Hey Ya! on his third attempt j_marv got 9391 on Billy Ray Cyrus - Achy Breaky Heart adamsternik got 9415 on Chris Brown - With You after about 25 attempts davidecit suggests Supremes - Babylove Golden footsteps ![]() Performs 1000 golden moves successfully Each "normal" (full length) track has 10 portions designated by SingStar as "golden". You will see the floor (under the dance avatar) sparkle in gold (where it is usually blue and pink). Simply perform those dance steps and you will see gold glitter sparkle into your score! Once you have done this 1,000 times total (can be multiple sessions), you will get this trophy. Best to play on easy, so you can perform the dance move easily to register it as a successful golden move. 10 per song means you can get this done in exactly 100 songs. See Let's get together for info on which track to select, and you can grind both out at the same time! Closing Notes Trophy Guide and Road Map are complete! Open to suggestions, feedback, comments, etc. Thank you for reading and I hope you have fun getting your DLC trophies. These road maps and/or trophy guides remains the property of the author. Well, to get 100% back you need to:
Import SS Guitar from Europe. Buy a PS3 Guitar Buy SS Dance Buy TWO Move controllers Buy the PS3 Eye ...and then of course actually do all the new trophy requirements!

This is honestly taking the piss now.. these little "add on" trophies should be optional, esp if you have to pay for them!!!! It's shit, making us little trophy heads go out and buy the new games, I,honest to God think it's getting stupid!!!!!

I agree, it is pretty stupid that they are releasing full retail games with only DLC-style trophies. It is also bad for their business too, as this is a big factor for many people in whether they will buy the game or not. But our choice is really just whether we will support this sort of crap by buying the game...

Which song did you buy, and did you find it easy to get the trophies with that?
