Romantic trophies

If you set up a house with 2 people as house mates, and you get them to like and love each other is it possible to get the date, marry, woo hoo and child trophy? I cant call the sim to ask them out because it says i dont know anyone..and i dont think the characters you add from the exchange can go in as extra unplayable characters that you can meet in game right?

i think so, as long as you give them different last names.
Alternately, you can meet people at the park.
