Hey guys.
![]() I know this has been discussed countless times, and there has been numerous solutions given but they are all buried deep inside each threat, but most end up complicating it all more than it has to be. I just learned this the hard way, a couple hours ago, after wasting hours and hours trying to get some trophies that always ended up glitching on me. Short Explanation From what I understand, Trophies are linked to an ingame Challenge, not to an action itself. That means that if you've already completed the corresponding ingame Challenge and did not get the Trophy, chances are, you cannot get that Trophy, unless you delete the file where the game stores Challenge data... requiring you to do the Challenge(s) all over again. NOTE: If you have access to another PS3 system, you can avoid losing everything, and use the second PS3 to get your lost Trophies from the Challenges which you already completed. Now, for the Trophies from which you have not yet completed the corresponding Challenges (whether you deleted the game data or are just starting the game), you can follow this very easy method to ensure you that you won't lose any Trophies!
I tried four different Trophies: the first one worked, and after that every Trophy glitched on me, no matter what I did. Tried going back to the menu, reloading the saved game and attempted finishing the Trophy again (in different ways, with different Sims, on fast forward/normal speed/pausing after, even tried doing different Trophies) but the Trophies never popped up, only the Challenge-reward message. However, after switching the system off, back on, reloading the game and re-attempting the Challenge, I was able to get the Trophies. If for some reason it doesn't work for you and doesn't get you the Trophy, you will still have the saved game ready to finish the task and get the Trophy once you find a solution/delete the game data. (Unless, of course, it's a Trophy like Miracle Worker which gets reset to 0 after you delete the game data.) I hope this helps.

Worked like a charm for my "Miracle Worker"
![]() ![]() Luckily I didn't miss any other trophies up until this one. And more luckily I didn't save my game after getting 1000 wishes the first time. Tried it twice without restarting but no luck. Read your topic and it saved the day! ![]() Thanks for sharing this tip. My gf is now creating 20 styles for the "styler" and after that the platinum will pop
