i feel your pain, i hate using cats on the sims but like you said, theres trophies for cats. not going for plat though.

I adopted a cat, made it play outside for a tiny bit then bathed it with no relationship with it, scratched me the first time, tried again straight after and worked.

i killed my cat and when it was a spirit form had no problem bathing it give it a go not sure wether having the cat as my best friend also helped am using my boyfriends account jabba 68

For me I praised my cat for grooming itself so she got the " Neat " trait and I immediately bathe it so I had no trouble ..

I tried bathing my cat so many times and every single time got scratched. I tried becoming best friends and still I got scratched so I tried raising my cats need bars until they wouldn't go any higher. (A satisfy karma power would help if you have it) Then my cat would let me bath her no problems
