Well I think I'm not buying this because I'll never get enough time to play till plat.
This game is great but the list is way time consuming. Like said above, we have a life and this trophy list force you to stick with it enough time to do the perfect run... I already have the collection on PS2 so I can deal with that. And damn, I never succeed unlocking the green spray... I may reconsider this on a better moment but by now, it's impossible.

Eh, I agree the endings aren't that hard to get. Got them all easily in the PS2 version. For example, I think the requirements for the In Water ending were something like "examine the knife in your inventory often" and have your health in bad/almost dead status whenever you can. So then I just made very sure the game couldn't possibly miss which ending I was going for and examined the knife in every new room I'd pass through and have James' health bar in what would be "orange - cautious" in RE games (don't quite remember what those conditions are called in Silent Hill).
I've never gotten a different ending than the one I was going for. Then again, in all my later playthroughs I went with the Rebirth ending, mainly because;
The Green Hyper Spray will be the biggest challenge for me, no doubt. And as always, the thing I'm most worried about is time. Pausing the game didn't stop the in-game timer in Silent Hill 1, I'm guessing it's the same for Silent Hill 2? >_> If only it would, that alone would make a huge difference for me. Other than the time requirement, I'm not too worried. I've always thought SH2 was a very easy game in general. As a matter of fact, the only part I consider hard is
The boat part is included with "time is the biggest enemy!" That's another reason why SH2 always felt like a step down to me from SH1; the game is so much easier in comparison. I felt SH2 was less scary because the pushover monsters in SH2 failed to make me worry about their presence. Kinda like in Shattered Memories, but not to the same extent, lol. And before anyone points out Pyramid Head; no, 'fraid to say I never found him scary. Actually, I thought his design with that triangle head of his was just so... silly, that at some point I thought "there's that ice cone guy again"..... yes, the great Pyramid Head made me think of an ice cone. You know you dislike a monster design when it makes you think of ice cream.
