Shrek Forever After Road Map and Trophy Guide
 If you have found this or any other threads that I maintain useful and are compelled to join this forum as a consequence, please give me a referal upon signing up. Overview
Road Map Introduction: There’s not much to say here. This is the video game adaptation of movie by the same title. It follows the exploits of Shrek and his comrades in their quest to foil Rumpelstiltskin's plan to ruin their lives. This game is clearly intended for a younger, less experienced audience and will most likely prove to be one of the easiest platinums available. It handles reasonably well and is so brief that you probably won’t even have time to criticize its lack of production value. As such, I highly recommend you rent this game. To further minimize the length of this game, I present the road map proper: Step 1: Complete the game. Just follow the story and proceed as directed by the game. You can go ahead and collect collectibles as you come across them. However, you shouldn’t bother trying to find all of them your first time through, since you have to revisit every level any way (except the very last one). The reason for this is that you unlock abilities as your progress through the game and each level, except the last, has collectibles that require abilities only unlocked later in the game. The only other rule you should follow in this play-through is to purchase the gold drop upgrade and all of its tiers first. By doing this, you will be optimize your gold collecting, which will obviously aid in the trophy that requires you to purchase all the store items. Finally, you may want to go ahead and knock out all of the “combat trophies” early on. These are all listed under that section. Step 2: Complete each level to 100%. Here you will have to replay each level until you’ve found all of the collectibles in it. As long as you’ve completed the game, you will have all of the necessary abilities to find all of the collectibles. The game auto-saves once you reach 100% in a level. So, to save a little more time, you can exit to the Ogre Camp, once you’ve completed a level to 100%. Step 3: Mop up. You should have most, if not all, of the trophies at this point. If not, look below at the individual trophy guides for any help you may need.

Story Related (Unmissable) Trophies  Ogres Rock!  Win the training fight in the Forest This is story related and will unlock in the Forest (tutorial) level. Swamp Sweet Swamp Use the magic mirror This is story related and will unlock in the Swamp level. Swamp Sweep Defeat the witches in the Swamp This is story related and will unlock in the Swamp level. Towers Are For Sissies Defeat the Fairy Godmother in Dragon's Keep This is story related and will unlock in the Dragon’s Keep level. Back to the Grave Beat the Skeleton battle in the Peasant Village This is story related and will unlock in the Peasant Village level. Ring Them Bells Find and return all three bells in Peasant Village This is story related and will unlock in the Peasant Village level.  Paid the Piper  Defeat the Pied Piper in the Catacombs This is story related and will unlock in the Catacombs level. Sinking Ship Sink the pirate ship This is story related and will unlock in the Docks level.  The Royal Highness is Heinous  Rumpel Defeated This is story related and will unlock in the Rumpelstiltskin's Palace level. Combat Trophies Let's Start a Sing-a-Long! Use Donkey Radio on an enemy See the “Where’s the Party?” trophy. Where's the Party? Use Donkey Radio on five enemies at once Donkey Radio is Donkey’s special ability. You use this ability by pressing  . To select Donkey press  . There are plenty of opportunities to get this trophy, but if you want to get it out of the way early, you can get it in the first battle sequence of the Swamp level. Towards the end of this sequence, there will be plenty of enemies. Just wait until at least five enemies are around you and then activate the special ability. You should go ahead and get the other “five enemies at once” trophies at this point too. Green And Mean Scare an enemy as Shrek See the “Fear My Roar” trophy. Fear My Roar As Shrek, scare five enemies at once Roaring is Shrek’s special ability. You use this ability by pressing . To select Shrek press  . There are plenty of opportunities to get this trophy, but if you want to get it out of the way early, you can get it in the first battle sequence of the Swamp level. Towards the end of this sequence, there will be plenty of enemies. Just wait until at least five enemies are around you and then activate the special ability. You should go ahead and get the other “five enemies at once” trophies at this point too. Ogre Horn Sound-blast an enemy with Fiona See the “Queen of the Swamp” trophy. Queen of the Swamp As Fiona, sound-blast five enemies at once Sound-blasting is Fiona’s special ability. You use this ability by pressing . To select Fiona press  . There are plenty of opportunities to get this trophy, but if you want to get it out of the way early, you can get it in the first battle sequence of the Swamp level. Towards the end of this sequence, there will be plenty of enemies. Just wait until at least five enemies are around you and then activate the special ability. You should go ahead and get the other “five enemies at once” trophies at this point too. Too Cute Use Puss in Boots' 'big eyes' to charm an enemy See the “Purr…” trophy. Purr... As Puss, enchant five enemies at once Enchanting is Puss’ special ability. You use this ability by pressing . To select Puss press  . There are plenty of opportunities to get this trophy, but if you want to get it out of the way early, you can get it in the first battle sequence of the Swamp level. Towards the end of this sequence, there will be plenty of enemies. Just wait until at least five enemies are around you and then activate the special ability. You should go ahead and get the other “five enemies at once” trophies at this point too. Team Shrek Defeat an enemy with each of the four characters in 1 battle This is very easy to get. Whenever you enter a battle, just be sure to defeat an enemy with every character. You can cycle through the characters by pressing the various buttons on the d-pad, or by pressing  or by pressing  . Shrek Goes Green Fill half of the Ogre Power meter See “100% Green Ogre”. 100% Green Ogre Fill up the Ogre Power meter You fill up the Ogre Power meter by defeating enemies. As time passes, the meter will deplete. Also, the meter will drop to zero if you get attacked. The earliest you can get this trophy is in the Dragon’s Keep level, as only at this point are there enough enemies to defeat. While it is possible to get this during the battle sequences in this level, I recommend just waiting until the boss battle at the end of the level. At the beginning of this battle, if you don’t bother attacking the main boss and focus on killing the indefinitely spawning minions, you will eventually completely fill up your meter. Just be sure to defeat them as they become available. Otherwise, your meter will drop. And, of course, don't forget to not let yourself get hit.

Cooperative Mode Trophies Ogre Outpost Complete the Cooperative Multiplayer mode puzzle in the Swamp See the "Ogre Mayhem" trophy. Ogre Outlaws Complete the Cooperative Multiplayer mode puzzle in the Docks See the "Ogre Mayhem" trophy. Ogre Mayhem Complete the Cooperative Multiplayer mode puzzle in the Peasant Village This trophy requires two controllers, but not two players, since the puzzle is very straight-forward and doesn’t require any dexterity. To have a second player enter, simply turn on the controller and press  . Once the puzzle is completed, you can press  to have the second player drop out. Let's Have Some Fun Defeat an enemy in the Cooperative Mutliplayer mode See the “The Party’s Here” trophy. The Party's Here Complete a battle while in the Cooperative Multiplayer mode This trophy requires two controllers, but not two players, since you can easily defeat all the enemies for a given battle by yourself. I recommend knocking this trophy out during the first battle in the Swamp level, since this is a particularly easy battle. When the battle starts, just press on the second controller to have the second player enter. When you complete the battle, the trophy will unlock and you can press to have the second player drop out. For anyone needing help with these puzzles, here are some youtube videos found by Mastodon: Miscellaneous Trophies Big Treasure Open a big treasure chest I believe the first time you will be able to get this trophy is during the Dragon’s Keep level, since only then do you have the necessary ability. In any event, you will have to open up all the big (and small) treasure chests in the game to get the platinum. Just Getting Started Get your first health upgrade Health upgrades can be either found in levels, as secret items, or purchased in the store. Get your first one to unlock this trophy. Shopping Spree Purcahse all store items This is a sub-requirement of the “Ogre Camp Complete” trophy. See that trophy for more details. Swamp Complete Complete 100% of the Swamp See the “Docks Complete” trophy. Dragon's Keep Complete Complete 100% of the Dragon's Keep See the “Docks Complete” trophy. Peasant Village Complete Complete 100% of the Peasant Village See the “Docks Complete” trophy. Catacombs Complete Complete 100% of the Catacombs See the “Docks Complete” trophy. Docks Complete Complete 100% of the Docks To get this trophy, you have to clear the level, find all of the secret items, and find all of the treasure chests. You should know that you won’t be able to get all of the collectibles during your first play-through of the level. The reason is that you don’t unlock some required abilities until later in the game. As such, such I recommend just playing through the entire game so that you have all the abilities, then you can replay the levels, as needed. You can check the progress you’ve made for each level by pausing the game and checking out the map. Most (if not all) of the collectibles are easy to find, as long as you investigate each area thoroughly. That said, the Docks level seems to be giving some people issues. Fortunately, Ace Attorney 86 from our sister site has created a chest guide for that level. Just follow this link. Rumpel's Palace Complete Complete 100% of Rumpelstiltskin's Palace This is just like the other “Complete 100%” trophies, with the notable exception that you do not have to replay this level, since you will have all of the necessary abilities unlocked your first time through. Ogre Camp Complete Complete 100% of Ogre Camp To get this trophy, you have to purchase all of the goods at the store and find all of the treasure chests. Note that some chests require abilities that are unlocked as you progress through the game. For purchasing things from the store, you should buy the gold drop power up and all it’s upgrades first. This will optimize your gold collecting as the game progresses, and therefore, minimize any grinding that you would have to do to get enough gold to purchase all the other items. I’m pretty sure the first gold drop upgrade becomes available after the Peasant Village level. After you’ve fully upgraded the gold drop power up, feel free to choose the order in which you purchase the other store items.  True Love's Kiss  Unlock all other trophies This will unlock after you unlock all the other trophies. Enjoy!

 I'm getting this game soon. I love shrek games specially the multiplayer thing  Definitly I'll use your guide

Thanks for the guide, just got platinum. Had a little problem on the palace as I missed one chest, the walkthrough for the docks was fantastic.
