Are people still playing this online?

I got it ages ago and put it away for later, not realising there was a play 10 hourd online trophy in it :-/.

This game itself is really hard, but thanks anyways for the guide. It at least helped me obtain a few trophies.

Are the Drift events required for platinum? The drifting events so far, have COMPLETELY taken the fun out of this game for me. And I put the game to the side because of it. Just when I think I'm getting drifting down I lose my touch the next race and get angry.

I'm a bit of a perfectionist so I'd like to finish all events, but no, if I can pass on Drift in this game I definitely will.

Yep, you'll have to at-least get good at drifting to defeat JR in the Drift branch, which is required for the

Dominator trophy.

Ok, so that means I can miss a couple events or no? If I just have to beat JR, I can grind that one out sure, but do I have to finish all drift events to unlock whichever event this JR is in? Thanks for the info.

You don't have to do all the events. Like with other rivals, you just have to qualify enough to enter the championship against JR and win that series.

Ok this is music to my ears, I can grind out this event, but not all of them. It's too damn frustrating. As long as it doesn't interrupt any progress with the badge trophies then that's great. Thanks for the info!

Proving ground trophy can't unlocked even on easy difficulty.Any advice?

It can be unlocked on easy. As you can set easy in career options before you ever start the first race. You still have to finish 1st however. Just be sure to restart if you are not going to win, otherwise you'll need to try again on a new save.

These days it is EXTREMELY hard to find people in the DUAL CHALLENGE CHAMPIONSHIP. After a few weeks, I've managed to get myself to the finals, by luck mostly, as everyone was trying to crash into me so I waited till they made a mistake... quite the painful experience.

Anyway, I was just wondering if theres anyone on here that already has the crown, that could meet me in the final and let me win (you already got the "King of the Hill" trophy so you'd be losing nothing, whereas I am hunting it down)

If you are down for a giving up 3 minutes of your time online, i would greatly appreciate it. Msg me on PSN @ spdDmn33
