Bad AI
I'm getting pretty frustrated with the AI in this game. There are some events where I end up restarting within 10 seconds because I've been spun out. What makes it worse is that the car doing the squeezing isn't gaining advantage. Half of the time they're pinned against the wall with me. Easy and Hard AI both seem equally aggressive.
Is anyone else finding this, or is it just me. I'd appreciate any tips for dealing with it. Also, I have a feeling there's some rubberbanding going on. I can put on a perfect lap and there'll still be a car right behind me. I feel like I'm playing against the AI from a kart racer.

Playing every now and then since release and the AI in this game is terrible. Most the time if I run into another car I usually have to restart 90% of the time. Either they hit me and I spin out or I run into a wall. Either way, once your out of 3rd there really is no way of catching up. It's pretty ridiculous trying to pass 7th place and failing to do so.

I'll agree with the OP though. But only in the case of the narrow city tracks. They're fine on the track racing circuits like Spa or Suzuka as long as you don't swipe across the track when you haven't passed them (then it's your fault if you spin), but on tracks like Miami, they're so much better than you. Hence why I just put it on easy for those races, then back to hard for the proper tracks.  Remember that you don't need wins for the "won 75 hard races" trophy, just podiums. Don't bother restarting races on city circuits for the sake of 1st place over 2nd or 3rd.

there is definatley some rubber banding especially when playing on hard. Try doing some of the eliminator races on hard and you will see what I mean. Everyone has the same car but they just rocket past you in the beginning of the race and on the straights
