what weapons do you suggest upgrading for hard. also, how hard was hard? im starting on easy first, just to get all the gems and get whatever trophies i can, then go to normal then hard.

Funny you should say that cause I just added some personal tips. In short, the shotgun and the Torch will prove to be very useful.

Aside from some minor grammatical corrections, as well as adding a few locations that you can use to grind White Gems for Red Gems (I'll add that in sometime tomorrow), the guide is pretty much complete! Feel free to post here if you think there's something I should add.

It's not that hard really. It was my first playthrough and i mostly died because i was careless at certain points in the game. There are plenty of ammo and booze (i had about 40 by the end of the game). Just carefully aim and kill with headshots. It's always a one-hit kill on any difficulty.

As for upgrades, upgrade your health to max, but not too soon as you can use instant heal trick when in need. Upgrade all weapon damages to max, i wouldn't bother with reload times. You can spend a couple of gems for capacity if you want. Also lightshot's rate of fire will come in handy at later stages. So you might want to upgrade that too. Don't spend your white gems on anything except red gems. Like i said, there are lots of ammo and booze. Ammo spawns in short intervals in boss fights and some other places so you won't need to buy extra.

Edit: It seems i was a little slow and BreadSkin already pointed out most of the things i wrote in this post. Oh well..

if you guys missed 1 of the gems in the gem guide, dont sweat it cuz if you farmed enough white gems, then you can just buy the one you missed. you just need 80 red gems, doesnt matter where they come from.

This act is abit glitchy can get 6-8 Gems all from the same location. Just that when after getting the gems u come to the save point near the church? stop and exit game > load back > and go to this 3 point again. (if can) then repeat this with every checkpoint

Are you sure that there are 2 gold trophies? Another guide says there are 3.

if you guys are having trouble with fiesta caliente, there is a good spot in 5-1 right after you get your 1st red gem of that stage (good time to quit and re-grab that same gem as well). so when youre coming back, 5 demons will spawn in that little hallway. take off all their legs with the boner so they all crawl. then place a sticky bomb on the side of the wall and wait for them all to get in the radius. make sure you only use 1 bomb though. i had 1 on the wall and 1 on a guy and it didnt count it.

It counts. I got mine shooting 6 bombs on the floor. It registers as one big explosion if they all explode at the same time.

I'm looking at the trophy list in the XMB now. There are only 2 golds: Legion Hunter and High in Las Vegas.
