What is "Severed?"

Why is there a sub-forum for severed?

Severed is going to be some DLC levels they will be releasing. I believe that they announced them the day the game came out. So far all anyone knows is that it's starring Gabe Weller and Lexine (from Dead Space: Extraction), and that its supposed to be taking place at the same time as the regular game.

I hope it's a third person adventure. I do love the rail shooter don't get me wrong but I'd prefer taking full control of Gabe or Lexine. Do you think they will talk about what happened to McNeil ?

I don't see how they couldn't, it was left on such an odd cliffhanger with him. I'm glad to see Lexine return, but really could do without Weller. That guy just plain annoys me.

It'll be 3rd person for sure. Hopefully there'll be new weapons because I wouldn't mind a P-Sec pistol

imo this addon should have Lexine as a playable character with McNiel helping along the way, and they wont make it a rail shooter because then they would have to re-design the games mechanics

That price sounds like an unfounded rumour to me! At the most it'll be between £5-£10.
