Even though I know very little Japanese, I think I'm going to import this title when it comes out in the near future. Running around and kicking ass in Sengoku Basara 3 Utage as a samurai wielding two chainsaws is just too much to pass up.

what if we can get 500,000 people in NA and another 500,000 world wide interested in this game do you think they might consider releasing it in the states? To be honest I never heard about sengoku basara til I saw the anime on funamation channel when I went to see more info on it is when I saw that there released sengoku basara samurai heroes. I mostly get my game news from x-play, game faqs and youtube sadly capcom didn't really advertise for sbsh.

Some people are petitioning for the slightly more reasonable request of getting English text and/or subtitles in the game. |

Honestly, what did Capcom expect when it came to sales? The first game in the west was a bastardized version of the real game and the second (which was actually the third installment) pretends as if the first game never happened (which is good except for the fact that they took no effort in explaining what had happened in the previous 2 games) with literally no marketing. You can't release the latest game in a franchise for the first time in a new territory with no explanation of what happened in the previous installments and with no marketing and expect it to be profitable. Capcom are more or less aware of this. I used to be friends with one of the guys who handles Capcom's marketing in the west and he wholeheartedly admitted that he had no interest in the game and didn't feel like working to market it. Shame because I would much prefer to play these games over the Musou series. Musou is fun but it lacks the same flare that the Basara games have. |

I agree, Capcom really shot themselves in the foot with how poorly they marketed this game here. Also, these games have a much more fun factor that Koei's hack and slash games lack. Koei's titles are still fun yes, but Sengoku Basara manages the fun factor way better. Also, a fair portion of their Sengoku characters are way better than their Samurai Warriors counterparts. For example, Samurai Masamune is annoying as hell but the Sengoku one rocks.
