Plat help

Hey guys, i bought this game when it came out, but after a while i got a bit bored of it.

I'm 3 trophies away from another platinum so i put it on today to finnish some challenges.
But when i get headshots, windscreen torpedo etc they dont add on to my challenge (if you know what i mean)
if i start a new game will they continue over?

starting a new game will not carry over challenges.
