I know it's popular and all, but imo this is a piece of crap waste of time. Ye the gameplay is fun at times & the humor is fun, but I've had so many gang operations bug on me, and what's bringing me to a boiling point is damned missions like the Smoov assassination, 2 hours last night & 2 hours today, just spent running around trying to find a fat ho to get this guy to appear, but I got no ho's anywhere in the whole damn city, my brother is playing my copy, has the same damn problem, and a friend of ours that has the platinum said he spent maybe 10 hours on missions & having fun, the rest was a 20 hour hell of finding stuff that is there one moment but not the next, dealing with your character getting stuck in places (I've had to restart from main menu seven times so far because of that too) and annoying bugs that just screw up the flow of the game

All in all I would say this could have been one of the best games of the year, if gametesting wasn't a thing of the past. The over the top action & humor beats all the other sandbox games I've played so far, but way to many frustrations along the way, I'll finish it, resell it and will stay away from volition until they learn to gametest and polish up their games

Defianately worth getting also good if some of your friends have it so you can play online co-op. also pretty easy platinum.

I second this, went through it with a friend at his house, been one of the funnest co op playthroughs I've done in a while.

I never got bored with it at all. They just keep throwing crazy stuff at you and ramping up the awesomeness of everything going on.

I rented mine so it cost me £2 to play it and get , thinking about importing the German version now though, a little pricey in comparison but I'll probably sell it after.

I'd say it's definitely worth it, just don't buy an online pass (if buying used) and feed the bastards undeserved cash, it doesn't matter how good a game is, online passes are bullshit

This game is awesome. I've bought it twice, once at release then sold it back to amazon. Then picked it up again at a pawn shop for 10 bucks. You can't go wrong with this game!!!

Its fun as hell. Its easy to get all the trophies but if you want a game that is long dont look here it was short. But if you want a quick plainum then get it lol.

game seems shiit to me. started 1 week ago and played for 2 hours. played again few days later for 5 minutes then turned off. think it is so boring. all it does is try to copy gta on everythink but when you come from playing gta to playing SR3 everythink is the same but shiter quality, so in my opinion. get a different game. think will trade it

The game is very fun, and the humor actually had me laughing unlike GTA IV where I felt like most of the jokes were kind of dry. It took me about 50 hours to platinum it, and I loved every second of it. But I have to agree, once you get the platinum you kind of lose interest.

And actually If you buy this game new you get a free download of Saints Row 2, so there's no need to buy SR2 because you're on the fence about SR3. Two great games for pretty cheap because the price has gone down.
