When do more challenges become available?

started the game a few days back, When looking at the trophy guide/roadmap I see some challenges that don't show on my challenge list, same with cars to steal...are there hidden challenges or will they become available later as the story progresses? I'm trying to do all the side stuff done that I can before moving ahead.

And FYI, any accomplishments you do before the challenge unlocks will still be registered once it does. For e.g. I did a lot of gang specialists kills during survivals before those challenge unlocks and when they did they were already half completed.

UM no, i dont think so. Story unlocks challenges as well as stuff. Continue the story. If your not close to the end, why are you worrying about challenges? Also, the gamers above me answered the question with the most simplistic way possible. What dont you understand?

for those of you who dont know HOW to continue the story, heres a break down

Press select and go to missions which is the top middle button. It will have your associates names and the mission they want you to do. Thats the name of the mission under their name. WHen you select one, the gps will give you a route to get to them, and when you get there, the mission or animation will start.

Complete the mission to progress through the story. If you picked the wrong mission, you can press start and go to the options that says "restart mission or end mission". By selecting that you can either restart or end mission, which you can do later on.

For the last challenges/ car thefts/ assassinations you need to get past the zombie island story mission (which is 2nd to the last i think), so if your not there, there will be locked challenges.

I don't understand when more challenges become available---sorry if I was unclear. Right now I have 30 challenges available. Yes, I know that as I complete more of the story, more challenges will open up---I'm asking when that happens.

#8, since I saw you did unlock the trophies of "Tower Defense" & "Kuh, Boom", I assume that you did know when will those remain challenges become available........yes, after Act 1 you will unlock 10 more challenges & after the "Special STAGS" appear, the last challenge will unlock & showed in the list
