Default Rock band 3 pro drums in gh?

Hi people...

I would like to know how works the PRO DRUMS RB3 in GH? About the cymbals, work on GH? How many notes are available?

Works like Rb2 drums (4 notes) or like GH drums (5 notes) ?

I got a set of rock band drums and the yellow pad broke so I bought the 2 pack cymbals before RB3 came out and it worked great with RB2 and fine with RB3.
However with guitar hero everything was fine it only had the four colors and as soon as I hit one of the cymbals about 3 times it paused said the 4 pad drum controller was unplugged and to please reconnect so I turned the drums off and back on and the same thing happened, so it would seem as though no they don't work though I only had 2 cymbals so if someone has the full pro set and it works for them I would hope they comment.

All the RB drums (no matter what version) works the same on GH, the highway only shows the 4 colors you can hit (red, yellow, blue and green) and the notes are somewhat "compressed" to work with only those 4 colors.

You can't use the RB cymbals at all on GH.

You can see that the 2 franchises don't have much interest in fully supporting each other's instruments, of course.

Usually people tend to stick more to one franchise than another, so it's not a big deal.

I prefer RockBand, so I usually buy RB instruments, except for the guitar, I like my GH5 guitar more than my RB1 Stratocaster.

you are right...me for example..i prefer GH because de highway is more faster (i cant play guitar without hyperspeed 4 or 5)

pro drums and pro guitar on RB3 got me interested...but this incompatibility will make me continue on GH

For me, BNS is enough.

But I see the advantages of having an adjustable scroll speed, like GH does.

Pro Drums is hard as hell (especially for me, that never played real drums), but it's one of the best additions to RB ever.

It's way more fun to play with a 7-part chart.

I have the GoodWood mod for the World Tour kit. The thing I like about these is it has a 5 color highway for Guitar Hero games and it is also compatible with Rock Band, you just have an extra note. It's pretty easy to adapt to each.

GoodWoodMods: Products

It's a mod product that you install on your existing RB or GH drums, replacing the pads (or parts of them) to get more resistent, responsive and/or silent pads with better rebound.
