Rush's 2112 coming to Rock Band 3!

Next Tuesday, January 3rd, Rush's 2112 is the official DLC for the week. It's split up into three separate songs, or if you buy the pack, you can play the whole 20-minute epic as one song. In addition, pro guitar upgrades are free if you buy the pack. I can't be the only one excited about this...

But yes, I think my friend (who's a fan of Rush) will be pleased about this--unless he already knows about it--and will probably buy the DLC.

Sure, but did you play them on Pro Drums, Pro Guitar and Bass, with harmonies, and as one 21 minute song? Didn't think so.

Actually, you play the whole disc on GHWoR in the Career, like one song.

Plus there's the "narration", wich is great.

Of course, I rather play it on RB3 anyway (already bough it), but it's pretty cool on GHWoR too!

When I played it on GHWoR, I remember the narration always splitting it up. And I didn't really like the narration all that much to be honest. I know the narration is by Rush, but I didn't like the fact that it stopped the song multiple times; it really ummmm...killed the groove for me I guess you could say. But I would much rather play it on RB3 anyway, I've never liked Guitar Hero much after GH3.

Also, does anyone wanna add me and play this with me? I've got a fair amount of DLC, and I don't really like playing with randoms.

I could use a few more people on my list who are still playing the game often and have some DLC. I have been waiting to play the full 20 minute version of 2112 until I have at least three people.

Top 100 on RB3 vocals, 600+ songs.

Would have loved for them to throw in Something For Nothing and Passage To Bangkok with it. But hey, at least we get Korn next week! <facepalm>

If we're counting disc export songs, I think I have around 500. But yeah, this is pretty much the only game I play regularly so it'll be nice to have someone to play with. I find most randoms either have only RB3 songs, which I got tired of a long time ago, or RB3 and maybe a couple DLC songs. Shoot me a friend request and we can play sometime. I'd say my main is vocals, but I can also play guitar, bass, and Pro Drums on expert.

Probably one of the best additions added to this game. what a joy it was to sit and play a 20+min song lol
