Default Pro Drums

I wanna plat this game but I absolutely refuse to spend all that money on the drums. I've already got access to a pro guitar and keyboard.

My question is to anyone in the US that has the pro drum expansion. If I could borrow them for just a little while that would be great.

Buy them, they're worth it. Plus, I doubt anyone would be willing to just give you them and trust that you'd give them back. Pro drums are the best deal out of all the pro insturments, anyway. All songs have pro drums charts, and they're really fun if you're good at drums.

I bought the cymbal expansion and I'm loving it, even moreso than the pro keyboard (though I'm not very good at keyboard). If you wanna get the plat for RB3, it will cost you a lot of money. Luckily for me, I like the game enough to buy all the instruments anyway. I'd say if you don't like the game enough to want to buy all the instruments anyway, don't go for the plat. It would be a huge waste of money.

I love the drums. Don't get me wrong but i already bought a good wood mod for my guitar hero set late last year and i'll feel sick buying more drums. I guess ill have to keep an eye out for a good deal

Trust me, if you love the drums, you'll want to keep the cymbals. I paid a lot for mine ($50) and I think it was worth every penny.

Pyramat is right, buy the cymbal expansion pack - you won't regret it. It was just £35 here, which is about US$50, about the same as what Pyramat paid.

And yes, every single song has a Pro Drum chart, and trust me it's so much better hitting rubber pads than plastic ones. Most songs use hi-hat / ride to keep the beat, and it's so much better not hearing wood on plastic for about 75% of any song.

Since getting the cymbal expansion pack, I've played Pro Drums about 90% of the time. I've hardly touched the keyboard (either basic or Pro), and I'm still waiting for the Pro Guitar to visit the UK. Vocals/Harmonies is neither here nor there.

I doubt I'll ever get the platinum, but it's not a dealbreaker for me. I play RB3 more than all my other games put together!

I used to have a RB1 drum kit and I almost never played them. Plus, I was always terrible at drums, being unable to play anything above Medium.

I still bough the RB3 drums (PRO) and it was the best thing I could have done! PRO Drums is by far my favorite PRO instrument on the game.

It's hard to describe how much more fun drums become with the 3 cymbals being added to EVERY song since RB1. It's like a whole new instrument on the game.

I still suck at drums, struggling to play on Hard, but now I play them all the time. Especially after I got the platinum and started to play just for fun.

I strongly advice you to buy the expansion kit if you already have a RB2/Beatles kit.

Just installed the 2 cymbals expansion for my ION drum kit last week and I must say I'm very impressed with the Pro Drum mode.
