Can ELS2 status be downgraded?

I managed to complete the set on Expert vocals but unfortunately, I wasn't able to play without pausing for food and family matters, (not the TV show 0_o) Anyway, I thought I could try for BoS with maybe medium vocals just to kinda slump my way through and I have a bathroom within reach of the extended cable so as long as I was familiar with the lyrics I could keep playing without pausing, but here's my question:

"If I have platinum singer status and I played ELS2 on a lower difficulty level would it downgrade my status to said level of second completion? (Medium status)"

BoS is my only somewhat tough trophy left but I don't want to risk sacrificing a platinum symbol over it. Does anyone have an answer for me? My thanks to anyone who can help.

I'm posiive it didn't downgrade it. My friend did it in the same situation as you except he was a drummer and he still has the platinum icon.
