I did a couple half-assed run-throughs so far, but I can say that I'll enjoy the DLC. The price was a no-brainer since I loved the original so much. After playing a few rounds on single player, I realized what made this game so much fun - a good team mate. Without another player, it resorts back to the systematic method of upgrading weapons at ideal times to garnish any hope of a survival. (This still occurs with a partner, but you can diversify much more easily)
Now you have to lay out a pre-destined path to get desired results, all the while tearing at the meager bits of gold and health. No saves hand in hand with (un)healthy amounts of zombies. This formula Dead Nation runs on for gameplay combined with these simple mechanics derive a fun challenge.
