Just did Never Give Up on brothers PS3 with the newest patch. I didn't find the difficulty changed at all. I used info's method but modified it a little

Never Give Up:
Round 1: Money - Upgrade your SMG to max
Round 2: Mine
Round 3: Money - Upgrade Flare, Turret to max
Round 4: Launcher - The weapon route is harder and the launcher will come in handy for large crowds or slashers. Upgrade blast radius as much as you can
Round 5: Health - Upgrade Rifle and Mines to max
Round 6: Turret
Round 7: Health
Round 8: Grenades - Fill up all ammo first. Upgrade launcher and grenades as much as you can
Round 9: Health

When you get to round 9, creep slowly and take your time. You don't need the multiplier or bonus at the end so wasting time doesn't matter. When you reach the final fight, make a perimeter of 4 turrets and 4 mines. Nothing should get through. Keep your SMG equipped. After round 9, quit as soon as the trophy pops and you're done. Before the final fight of Round 6, you'll find your health is at half or lower. Make sure to use the medikit no matter what, even if you feel you don't need it. You'll be rushed with tons of zombies, a couple slashers and a few jumpers. I didn't do this and I died once.

I've tried this many many times. Finally got this after chanigng strategy.

I keep rushing up to the final. Just run. When its hot throw flair dont fight. You can reach 10 round in 25 minutes.

SMG best weapon. Only weapon I used in all cases. Max power Max speed. Max ammo ,half clip no laser.

1 -money
2 -turrets
3 -money
4 -mines
5 -health pack
6 -accessory rout rush do not fight or collect
7 -health rout rush do nofight or collect
8 -accessory rout rush do not fight or collect
9 -health rush

I got Combo Master and Keep It Up easily thanks to the methods listed here.

Now I only have one left:
Never Give Up, which I hate.

szyszaczek's strategy got me to level 8!
