Overview: -Estimated Trophy Difficulty: 3/10 -Offline: 8(3 4 1 )-Online: 3(2 1 )-Approximate amount of time to 100%: 10-20 hours -Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 1 (campaign + trophy cleanup in custom games) -Missable trophies: None -Glitched trophies: None -Does difficulty affect trophies?: N/A (AI difficulty can't be changed) -Do cheat codes disable trophies?: N/A (no cheats) Introduction: The important thing to note is that after completing the campaign, all other offline trophies can be achieved by playing local multiplayer games (either against the computer OR with multiple controllers). It is important to note however, that any action that needs to count towards a trophy MUST be accomplished by Player 1 (this should be displayed as your PSN during games). Any action accomplished by other players (troop kills, map wins, super overkills, etc.) will not count towards trophies. Walkthrough: Step 1: The Campaign The campaign consists of five levels and helps to serve as an introduction to the new, objective based version of Risk. Completing all five campaign maps will earn you Faction Specialist and doing so is required to unlock all of the maps needed to complete 5 Star General. Completing the campaign will set you along the way to accumulating kills for Destroyer and if you’re lucky you may pick up a triple overkill or two along the way to help with Demon Child. You should also be able to fairly easily achieve First Strike on any of the maps, and if you make an effort, you can knock out Capitalize This on the final map of the campaign. Step 2: Offline Cleanup This stage consists of cleaning up all of the offline trophies you missed or started working on during the campaign. As mentioned above, all of these trophies can be achieved in local multiplayer games so long as you have enough controllers although playing against the computer is not too difficult. While these trophies can also be worked on online, due to difficulty finding online matches, I found these trophies to be easier to attain locally. Step 3: Online Now you’ll need to log on to the PSN and wrap up the three online trophies. Due to difficulties finding people to play with online, and even more difficulties getting people who are losing to stick around until the end of the game, you should definitely speed up the process by finding other members to play with in the Trophy Boosting Thread. First StrikeBe the first to get an objective in a game. This should come up naturally while playing the campaign. Note that this trophy won't pop until the end of your turn when you choose the bonus associated with the objective you've completed. Choosing your reward is when the game registers the objective as complete. If you are having difficulties with this trophy, one of the easier objectives to complete early is Capture an Enemy Capital, during your first turn, just load up all of your troops next to the enemy capital and have at it. DestroyerKill 100 human, cat, robot, yeti and zombie units. This trophy requires you to kill 100 units from EACH faction, not just 100 enemies total. In order to see how many troops of each faction you have already killed, check under War Record on the main menu. If you are going to boost 5 Star General locally then you can get this along the way, just make sure that you are playing against the factions you still need kills for (and remember again that only kills by Player 1 will add to your totals). Faction SpecialistComplete the human, cat, robot, yeti and zombie campaigns. Simply complete the campaign and you will get this trophy. The campaign consists of 5 maps, and you will play as each faction once. If you are new to this version of Risk, just remember that it is more important to complete objectives than wipe out your enemy. SoldierPlay 5 games on PlayStation Network. Just play 5 games to completion online. See the Trophy Boosting Thread for a boosting partner. This will be accomplished on the way to completing Glory Hunter. Master & CommanderWin a 5 player ranked Command Room game on PlayStation Network. Do just what the description says. You must win a 5 player ranked Command Room match online (to clarify, Command Room is the objective based version). Again, find boosting partners in the Trophy Boosting Thread. Capitalize ThisControl 5 capitals. This trophy must be achieved in a game with 5 players (only way to get 5 capitals on the map at once). I managed to pick this up in the final map of the campaign but it can also be achieved online and locally. Remember that you don't need to hold these capitals until your next turn, you just need to end your turn with all of them. If you are unable to get this playing the campaign, boost it locally using as many controllers as you have and using computers to fill in the remaining spots. IronmanDefend a minimum of 5 attackers with 1 defender. While this trophy is technically based on luck, it can be boosted locally with multiple controllers and there are strategies to make this easy on yourself. First off, remember that Player 1 must be the one to hold off the five attackers. Start a multiplayer game and have Player 2 build up an army of at least 6 people on a border where Player 1 has multiple 1 man territories. When Player 2 attacks, select to attack with just one dice at a time. In a one on one fight, a defender has the statistical edge since he wins ties and this strategy will save you quite a bit of time. Keep attacking with just one person at a time until one of Player 1's defender manages to pull off this feat. Demon ChildAchieve 10 super overkills. Another luck based trophy, but again, there are things you can do to make the grinding for this trophy go faster. A super overkill is when the attacker rolls triple sixes (as the name of the trophy implies) AND the defender does not roll a six as well. Again I would suggest trying to achieve this trophy locally with multiple controllers. There are a few things you can do to help your odds:
Star CommandEarn 10 stars and trade them for 30 troops. This is best boosted locally with multiple controllers. Every turn that you capture at least one enemy territory, you will receive a card. Each card can have one or two stars on it and these stars can be traded in for additional troops at the beginning of your turn. To get this, simply have Player 1 take one territory each turn while Player 2 does nothing. Player 1 will keep receiving cards and once you get 10 stars you can trade them in for 30 troops and your trophy. (Again, remember that it must be Player 1 that trades in 10 stars in order for the trophy to pop) Glory HunterWin 10 ranked games on PlayStation Network. As, the description says, win 10 ranked games on PSN. Because of the inconsistency in being able to find players online (particularly those that will stay until the end of a losing game) you are best off again utilizing the Trophy Boosting Thread in order to find a partner to knock this out with. 5 Star GeneralWin a game on each map. The easiest way to complete this is to boost locally with multiple controllers, although any wins you get online while going for Glory Hunter will count as well. If you do boost locally, remember that Player 1 must win the game in order for it to count. Maps that you already have a victory on will have a star next to their name, while those you haven't won on will have a black hole in the shape of a star. Additionally, although maps can be played with a different number of players, you only need to win on it once. For example, the map Catsmir can be played with 2 or 3 people, but you only need to win on it and one of those situations, not both. For a full list of maps, see below:

Thanks for the guide, just got my 100%.
You might want to explain about going for quick objectives for the online matches. Specifically if you play factions on the classic map, you will have three objectives by taking over euro and Africa (each of which is an objective, plus you will have enough cities/territories/wins for the third) Some people don't seem to get it. Also for demon child, there are various tricks posted around. I personally played a 3 player game, using 2 controllers and the AI. I used the classic map, and set the match to an Epic Game, which means you only win by controlling the entire map (allowing you to win and choose as many objectives as you want). Start by wiping off the AI, then have player 1 win automatic cards, attacker die, 2 bonus troops, and also any airfield objective which will be placed in Argentina. I also suggest getting defender die so that player 2 won't get it. Now move all your troops into Argentina and have player 2 take over the rest of the map. With this setup player 2 will get 35 troops per map or so from all the continents, and player 1 will get 30 every few turns from the cards. Takes a while to setup, but now you just repeat this: Have player 2 control and move all the troops to Brazil and once over 100 troops have player 1 takes over. Now have player 2 control and move all troops to Peru, and once over 100 troops have player 1 take over. Repeat. The attackers die means you have 4 dice, while the airfield you put on Argentina will give you a bonus for both spots. You will find an army of 50 can easily crush 100+ defending troops with this setup. Anytime you see player 2 troops get defeated before the numbers get low means you did another super overkill. The setup itself takes longer than getting your super overkills once set up,

I've won more than ten games legit and haven't got the glory hunter trophy unlocked. Has this happened to anyone else? Any suggestions? I've tried deleting my game save and redoing it. That didn't work. Is it because people rage quit and mess it up?

Rage quitting does seem to cancel out a win. At least in my experience playing the game, if one person rage quits but there are more than one person left, those people are able to finish the game and it will count as a win. However, if everyone else rage quits and you are left alone, I don't believe the game counts that match as a win.

Can local MP be done with one controller? Or if I wanted to play on the Classic Risk map locally, I'd need 3 controller?

I believe you need a controller for each player to use. I attempted to start a multiplayer game today with just one controller and was not successful. I can definitely confirm that changing the controller settings to a different number during faction select will not work.
