Unfortunately, this has to be posted again because the mod, in his infinite wisdom, saw fit to close the previous thread because "the game wasn't out," even though the game has been out in Japan since late January.
So again, is this hard to platinum? And if anyone has played the Japanese version that has been out for months (plural), feel free to comment.

The mod, in his infinite wisdom, might point you here:
http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/res...e-roadmap.html There is no /10 difficulty rating but there are very good descriptions of most trophies by someone who has them to give you a better idea.

This doesn't answer my question. I don't want to look through a guide, because of possible spoilers. In the absence of a difficulty rating thread (which can even be somewhat misleading, due to the number of trolls here who misrate games), I want to hear from someone who has the platinum, or is in the process of getting the platinum.
Thanks for your response, though.

Well without pulling any of the spoilers over: Estimated Time: 80-120 Hours.
A lot of grind oriented trophies it appears and not all of the hidden trophies have even been revealed by anyone yet. So I would say it will be pretty challenging.

I'm 32% in, trophy wise. All of the hidden trophies have been revealed, just not on the main page trophy list. So far, from the way the game's going some of the trophies look to be a bit grindy but not difficult. Time will be the main issue rather than ability, I believe.

I've read this game is very hard. All the reviews note its difficulty, even the Japanese reviews. It is rare these days to hear difficulty mentioned in reviews unless they're suggesting the game is easy.
I'd guess this game will be a 10 difficulty, but sometimes people post videos of them playing games like these on youtube and you can simply watch the video and mimic what they do. Also, you may be able to grind for EXP. Really have to wait untill someone platinums the game until we know for sure. |

seems like it'll be a pretty hard platinum, I just had to pass a level where my guys were out-leveled by about 10 levels and I did quite a bit of fighting just to get to the level I was at. I'm thinking after the first playthrough the platinum will be easier since there's a New Game +, so I'm think it'll be as hard as Bayonetta. First playthrough tough, but after that it should gradually become easier.
