despite the obvious conflict with FFXIII, there's a wind of speculation that this game is not something to be overlooked. Famitsu has rated this game as 34 out of 40 and specifically notes...

- it's difficulty
- it's complexity

Now some of this stirs from a poor tutorial, but I'm far more optimistic now. read the review at 1up.com and comment.

I just did random stuff in the demo and it seemed to work, but it definately looks complex. Anyways I hope Famitsu's review turns out right and it doesn't disappoint!

i've seen some vids of this, it does look good, a jrpg with guns instead of swords, battle system does seem complex, but it's gunna be on my to buy list

lol they rated the game high because it's hard?

i think it's by the people who did Valkyria Chronicles, that game was so confusing and awkward, but great story and pacing. just had to youtube how to beat all the levels.

i enjoyed the demo and am looking forward to it ^^

but as FFXIII is stuck in my PS3 and will never leave for a looooooonnnnnngggg time it will have to wait XD

Didn't think it was that hard but then again it was the demo

FF13 is also stuck in my PS3 for who knows how long... I am a little disappointed so far with FF13, so I hope Resonance of Fate turns out to be a true RPG. I miss the old RPG's from the early 90's.

Incorrect, Valkyria Chronicles was done by Sega as publisher and Sega WOW Overworks as developer. Resonance of Fate is published by Sega and developed by Tri-Ace (The people behind Star Ocean, Valkyrie Profile, and Infinite Undiscovery)

Anyway, I'll be picking this up later day. But I have to beat FFXIII first but I'm on the last chapter so that will only take a couple of hours.

This seems to be kind of a great game (visual wise), I will definitely pick this one up since PS3 seriously lacks in the RPG dept. ): But after seeing videos, the game seems to be quite tough...

Ahh, thanks for the information. Did anyone buy this yet? I want feedback before I make a decision on whether to get it or not.

I got it and I think it sucks.They don't explain anything. It looks crap. Everything is small. I wanted to quit after a hour but had to go on to 2 hours until I could save.

Verdict: This game blows.
