It'll be at least another year I reckon before they even consider turning either server off.

There must be some super-law that bans companies from including massive grinding trophies and then turning off servers early! (im praying there is at least
)I would feel confident for another year or so that the servers won't go down. However, the bit that worries me is the player base. I for one am looking forward to jumping on Resistance 3, so its just a matter of whether or not enough people still feel like playing Resistance 2 i guess! |

If you don't manage to
Resistance 2 by the time R3 comes out, then you probably never will has the player base will drop considerably like it did with KZ2 when KZ3 came out.

well the server won't drop for many reasons mainly because there's a new R1 & R2 game combined together just released a month ago the only thing that worries me is people stop playing it that much when 3 comes out making the grind for 10000 kills even more annoying that's why i hope to finish them by the end of this month !!

i think, some of the more memorable ones that i boosted were, SF4/SSF4 (just online competition is just too ridiculous!), Red Dead Redemption (getting consecutive wins in a row can be tough), Lord of the Rings: Conquest (near impossible to do legitimately. regular matches dont even last long to get like 25 kills on your own. you'd have to kill hog/steal and hope the rest of your team sucks ass. plus not a lot of ppl online much anyways), Tron: Evolution (not really difficult to do, just time consuming and i only rented that game anyway), and Mindjack (also not necessarily difficult to do, but just really time consuming). but i usually earn all other stuff online myself. the 1000 kills in Quantum of Solace was cake compared to Resistance 2 -_- and that game was actually surprisingly lots of fun. other online stuff i got myself include Bioshock 2 and even Demon's Souls, i got really luck and got the pure bladestone on my own, so i didn't have to trade for anything. other stuff i dont consider really boosting, like cooperative game play which requires playing with other ppl, like zombie trophies in COD or co-op trophies for Portal 2. by definition, those trophies need to be earned by working with other peeps anyway, so i dont really think of that as "boosting" trophies. but ugh, i just want to say that i cannot stand trophy grinds like these. 10,000 kills is probably one of the worst trophies ever. i never did play the first Battlefield: Bad Company. i dont know if i ever will. i think its super stupid for companies to try and force extended replay through trophies like this. i know its not like you are actually forced to do these things, but i think its a horrible way to try and extend the life of a game. another example of bad game/trophy design is when difficulty trophies don't stack. that's just the worst. dont make me replay your game 3 times just to get all the trophies, especially if its a total shit game. again, i know if its that bad i shouldnt be wasting my time with it any way. but still, we're all here on this site for a reason, to feed our obsessions (with trophies) so dont judge me. ![]() anyway, as much as i hate to "boost" trophies for the sake of just boosting. I hate having incomplete trophies more. so i'm willing to boost for trophies like this. especially since i get burnt out on gaming after playing really tough games (like Demon's Souls), its nice to take a break with easier/dumber games, like kid games i've rented, or kind of mindless actiony stuff. at least i still get to satisfy my urge to play video games, but i dont have to think too or worry too much.
