Import it from Japan, they have the disc version of both RE4 & RE CV, but the subtitles are Japanese

Not just the subtitles, but the primary game text as well. For instance, all the menus in your Pause menu will be in kanji.

And all the files as well. That's not that big a deal for RE4, but in CV a lot of the puzzles are solved through hints in the files.

I'd say the best thing you could do would be to create an account with an american address, and then import an american PSN point card. Even with whatever markup the seller has on the card it'll still be cheaper than importing a japanese/asian disc.

True. Mind you, you can always make some of the money back from selling the disc if you buy the Asian version. Not an option with DLC.

Well fine then, he can make an english address and pay 25% more for it. I guess it's going to depend on whether or not his principals are worth $4.70.
