Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition was taken off of this bundle.

So now I'm wondering if this is capcoms idea of a replacement for a collectors edition. I hope not, because I really want one.

I haven't heard of this yet but if this is true they could give us Operation Raccoon city instead, since that's the only one I don't own or have played already.
We all know they won't do it and even if they did, I guess I won't get that bundle, reason mentioned above.

as great of a bundle this is i just need RE6 especially since i got all the physical copies of RE 1-5 and Code Veronica and i even download RE 1-4 off of PSN when they were free and on sale.

but still not that bad of a deal

on a side note has their been any updates on that street fighter anniversary collection that was announced?

It's a very nice bundle, but;

Resident Evil Director’s Cut => bought it from PSN
Resident Evil 2 => bought it from PSN
Resident Evil 3 => bought it from PSN
Resident Evil 4 HD => bought it from PSN
Resident Evil 5′s Gold Edition (includes all of RE5‘s DLC) => already own it... and bought the DLC from PSN

There's no reason for me to get this bundle; the only RE game I don't have from this list is RE6 itself.
But yeah, it's a very nice deal for those who don't have the games yet (too bad Code Veronica isn't included, though).

Are the RE3 and RE2 from PS store direct ports based on the original PS1 verion? Because as I recall those 2 games have been updated into different versions for multiple platforms.

As far as I can remember, RE2 had a Nintendo 64 port, and RE3 had a PC and Dreamcast port. All of these ports have modified contents compared to the original PS1 release.

After reading through this thread hearing RE5 has been removed from Anthology edition, it is down to the details of RE1, 2 and 3 that determines whether I will buy Anthology Edition or not.

Personally I have played vast majority of RE title out of the entire franchise. Only ones I haven't played are RE out break, outbreak file 2 and Darkside Chronicles. This means I will only fork out additional cash for RE6 Anthology if they had my favourite versions of RE1, 2 and 3.
