My save game data just got corrupted so I gotta do almost everything again. I had the s rank on all the chapters was close to getting all the emblems and getting all the weapons fullly upgraded and so on. I was about halfway through the professional as well. So it kinda pisses me off right now. Anyways was wondering that is there a possibility to play through the game on professional on first playthrough if your friend has already unlocked it. Would speed things up a lot. How about the weapon upgrades, is there any quick to way to get loads of money?

You can but I seriously do not recommend it as Pro is suicide for new characters, especially without any Infnite Ammo weapons. As for cash, see the Egg Duping thread but you have to be careful with that else you will end up with another busted save. The best way to make cash without risking your save is to farm The Licker corridoor (I forget the level number). To avoid any future inconvinience from a corrupted savec, back it up to a USB drive and/or the PS Plus save file cloud.

Thanks for help. But is there a way to complete the game in two playthroughs? Because I gotta get the s ranks and the emblems as well. And don't wanna complete the game three times in order to get everything. Getting the s ranks is kinda hard on veteran and professional and don't wanna do another playthrough just for the s ranks like I did last time.

Not really, unless you're an uber Pro .

Maybe you should get some break after finish once, this is the only way to prevent this "lack of patience or desire to play a lot" any game.

Yeah, we know sometimes it really sux to play longer games again, but this is short and fragmented to play as you wish, it's just your patience with tons of hurry added.

You already played, data corruption is annoying (got mine in Brutal Legend)... just play RE 5 once, finish, cash up a little and go play anything else to relax, then you come back a week later.

do a playtrough on easy or normal first and make sure you get an S rank on every chapter.
once you have done that you should have your total time close to/under 5 hours which unlocks the infinite rocket launcher.
then you should join someone's game on pro from the beginning of a chapter and finish that chapter so that you unlock pro too.

Question on the infinite rocket launcher, can you do this by doing chapter select rather than starting a new game? And does it apply on any difficulty?

Can I get it on Easy and then use it for the harder levels?
