Costume Trophy Guide

With this guide you will obtain the Lovely challenge I, Lovely challenge II, Lovely challenge III, and Lovely challenge IV trophies. Below are the correct in game names for the required pieces. Earn stars to buy the pieces once you unlock them. Menu to buy items is in the "Your Fighters" tab and then the "clothing/weapons" tabs once you select your fighter. It is suggested you complete these costumes before unlocking all pieces of clothing since you will earn stars for completing the costumes. Sometimes as much as 10 thousand stars.

Not trying to undermine the writer of the official trophy guide but even using the trophy guide I had a hard time with a few of them. Example: for handyman it says,

For the Handyman costume, equip the handyman hat, jacket, pants and shoes.

Nothing is called handyman in the game and I had to figure it out myself and assume that it was the construction worker stuff, and the costume does not use the mallet. Its was wrong on a few others as well. Some were very clear and some were very vague. And actually the trophy guide was missing one piece of one of the costumes. So here is a list of what you need with screen shots of what they look like. Hopefully it will save some others a headache like mine. Just remember un-equip any other category not being used, even if you can't see it. That was my problem in one or two cases and in a few others it doesn't matter.

Tip 1: Hold your finger over the item when in the menu and it will tell you the name of it.
Tip 2: Costumes can be glitchy. Start with a naked character. I have found even a hair style or something simpler will cause the costume to not unlock.
Tip 3: Complete the game once normally and then once more in weapons mode to unlock all the costume pieces. Some required parts wont unlock until weapon mode.

Lord of the Gnomes:

Head: Top Hat
Body: Formal Jacket
Legs: Formal Pants
Feet: Formal Shoes
Weapons: Garden Gnome



Handy Man:
*According to maxijodi legs a feet are not needed.

Head: Construction Helmet
Body: Construction Vest
Legs: Classic Jeans
Feet: Lumberjack Boots
Weapons: Plunger and Trumpet (although I dont think its required, it unlocked while on mine)



Fisher King:

Head: Zeus Laurels
Body: Knight's Armor
Legs: Knight's Pants
Feet: Knight Boots
Weapons: Fishing Rod



Space Cowboy

Head: Cowboy Hat
Body: Astronaut Jacket
Hands: Astronaut Gloves
Legs: Astronaut Pants
Feet: Astronaut Boots
Weapons: none



Dancing Dino

Head: Dinosaur Head
Body: Dinosaur Body
Legs: Dinosaur Legs
Feet: Dinosaur Feet
Weapons: none
Dance Style: Disco



Disco Inferno:

Head: Demon Horns
Body: Demon Body
Arms: Demon Bracelets
Legs: Demon Legs
Feet: Demon Hooves
Weapons: none
Dance Style: Disco (*According to maxijodi the "breakdance" style will also work)



Rocket Rocker:
Note: I accidentally changed part of this costume while looking through it. I think this is correct though. Dont get these parts confused with punk or glamstar.

Hair: Rock Star Hair
Body: Rock Star Chest
Hands: Rock Star Gloves
Legs: Rock Star Pants
Feet: Rock Star Boots
Weapons: Electric Guitar and Rocket



Thumbling Stone (rockman)

Head: Rockman Head
Body: Rockman Top
Hands: Rockman Hands
Legs: Rockman Legs
Feet: Rockman Shoes
Weapons: Giant Boulder

How did you get the Giant Boulder in the end for Tumbling Stone? My Giant Boulder is still silhouetted and I've beaten the Shaolin Monk many times.

Or is there something else you have to do? I already have the full rockman costume and it said lovely costume, but no trophy.

You need to best the shaolin monk in the weapons enabled version of story mode, which is unlocked after first completing story mode.

I buy the costumes, i put them on just like the discription says, and..... nothing happens, i completed 1 costume and it said nice costume, but with the others, nothing....

What am i doing wrong??

Whenever I had this issue it was because I had a costume piece on that I shouldnt have had on. Make sure you remove EVERYTHING. Even the things that dont make a difference like hair and stuff. I took a hair style off and it worked once. I also feel that these are a little glitchy. Pretty much start with a naked character when trying for the costumes.

Damn, wish I had seen this thread 5 minutes earlier. I was searching for where to buy stuff and I clicked Begin in the story menu and it erased my prior save without warning which is bs. There was no "are you sure you want to do this?" or anything, just poof, gone. Fortunately I was only like 5 battles in but it still pisses me off. I'm guessing I have to play through the story to unlock the ability to buy weapons eh? That's unfortunate.

Oh and I did the dinosaur costume using ballet style and it unlocked. It said Lovely costume with flowers and stuff so I assume I did it properly.

Oh and any idea why I can't find the demon body? I bought all the other demon stuff but the body isn't available to buy. It's not in black either, it's not under my clothes at all. Is it only unlockable by playing through the story?
