Survival help?

I know there are topics on it but none of the ways mentioned are helping... I dont think Im doing the trophy guide way correctly and the dancer just isnt working. I managed to get the trophy for the 10 wins but 20 and 30 seem hopeless. What methods did you use?

Just thought I would summarize what hikamikazesama (aka Fiammadikokoro) gave me on gamefaqs... Havent tried it yet but its explained much better here than in the trophy guide. Another reply on gamefaqs said he did this method and got board at 50 wins. lol

Alright heres what I did to get the extreme survival trophy.

Create a costume that has the best stats possible, remember it doesn't matter what it looks like. Make sure to try everything because some things can be stacked like the items under arms.

Set your character's style to Ballet and Also equip the Shinai weapon that can be obtained by beating Musashi in Story Mode for the second time.

Now when you begin fighting the key is time. If the time runs out then you'll lose, so you need to keep your eye on the clock. Try to finish things before you hit the 30 second mark so you can start with the full 60 seconds next match. Now what your going to be doing is using R+ Triangle, R+O, and holding down+O and using the Nutcracker when best.

Depending on the opponent different tactics have to be used, but I can guarantee victory every time.

When a match starts off stay still and wait for your opponent to dash to you. As soon as they come close enough start the R+Triangle combo, do the whole combo then get in close and start again as soon as they get up.

If an opponent doesn't get hit and starts to attack you then block and when possible, hold down and then press O to down them. From this point you can do two things try to R+Triangle to start the combo again or if you know they are going to block it do R+O instead do it 4x and then immediate down them again with holding down and O again. RInse and Repeat.

Always use Nutcracker at the beginning so you can fill special gauge for the rest of the match. Also use special from battles 1-10 to speed up battles, from 11-30 on save up specials for hard opponents. To make sure you always connect with the special down the opponent then immediately start the special.

Opponents to watch out for and to use R+O, and special tactics are, Alfred, Ton-ton, Musashi, Das Max, Mr. Miyagi and Kowalski. When fighting them start off by Down and O then try to follow up with R+Triangle, if it doesn't work then down them use special, down them then use R+O tactic.

This method is just not working for me. Is there some key pieces of clothing i might not have unlocked that may make this easier?

The AI could really get so cheap here at some random rounds.
but i used a methode which 90% of the time made me win perfect rounds or at least lose a little of my HP.

first dress ur character like a rock ( rock jacket, rock trouser, boots etc... and a helmet ) using these items the damage i take gets really low.

and for the attack, use the boxer with the touch fighting mode.

and go to weapons and equip the red rocket and the magic wand ( they help )


now as soon as the battle starts use the rocket ( r + square )
while they opponent is knocked down use the magic wand ( r + X ) which will strip him of his clothes making all your attacks deal a large damage since the enemy is withour armor.

once the enemy is naked, he will get confused for 2 second. here go quickly and swip your finger in the front touch screen towards the enemy and spam it until he loses.

i did this and easily got the trophy.

Thanks Im trying that method now. How do you enable touch controls? I cant find it anywhere. I remember the game saying something about it but I dont remember what it said.


25 people is the farthest i can get. Im about to have an aneurysm. I havent gotten this mad at a game in a LONG time.

you enable it at the editing your fighter section.

just keep trying, it'll work.

Alright Ill keep trying... I got to 25 with just regular fighting with stones clothes and the wand. I havent tried the touch controls. I work with that and try to get it.

it's so much easier to spam the two punch combe on your enemy that way, he almost can never make a move.

in case he was able to break your combo then just try to knock him dowm by pressing ( down + circle ) and spam again once he stands.

YEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS i did it! I had rock clothing and all I did was spam the tap punch. Its the secret. no problem with time or health. Batista was the only scary one. Dont try and get fancy and double tap with two finger cause it will cause a ground punch. I would jump kick them then hold the analog in their direction just rapidly tap them. First try with this method.

both yhou must be lucky..nothing is working....i cant even use the rocket on time in beginning cuz it doesnt let me move for the 1st second when it hits like round 7 which makes me get hit, and whenever i use the rocket and then use the wand, he dodges it and then i get attacked etc...still cant get past 13...

nvmnd, i got it...barely lost it on 30 but got it love the spamming button!
my way of getting it, if you fail on either rocket and or wand, dont keep going for it, start spamming, if hes kicking your ass, drop spin kick him so he falls, then start spamming the finger swipe
