The series takes place in a science fiction setting and follow the adventures of a Lombax called Ratchet and his robotic side-kick Clank as they travel through the universe, saving it from evil forces on a regular basis. The series is noted for the inclusion of many exotic and unique, over the top weapons and devices. The franchise has now, deservedly, been remastered in HD for the Playstation 3, with the inclusion of trophies and stereoscopic 3D capabilities. The third title in the series, 'Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal', was originally released in 2004. The game follows Ratchet and Clank as they attempt to defeat a robotic villain, Dr. Nefarious, who intends to destroy all organic life. Walkthrough Step 1: Play the Game up until Final Boss This playthrough will allow you to obtain most weapons and gadgets, and more importantly, bolts, which in turn will allow you to reach other areas and defeat enemies easier which will consequently help you in earning all other trophies and skill points. The most important thing in this game are bolts; collect as many bolts as possible. There are a number of items in this game that require massive amounts of bolts to purchase, so try not to be wasteful. I recommend purchasing some good armour, the Annihilator, Bouncer, Agents of Doom, Rift Inducer, Plasma Coil and Shield Charger as soon as you can as these will make everything a lot easier. You can upgrade any weapon by simply using it, but try not to stick to one particular weapon because eventually you will have to fully upgrade every weapon to Omega status. Once you have upgraded a single weapon to its max, switch to another weapon. Other than that, just enjoy the game and move on to to step 2 just before facing the final boss. Step 2: Planet Specific Trophies + Challenge Mode (NOTE: Keep same save file) Make sure you overwrite your previous games save rather than creating a new one, as doing so will reset your progress towards the bolts trophy. You should now be able to access all areas of the game, so focus on unlocking all Planet Specific Trophies. Most of these trophies are tied directly to skill points, so every Planet Specific Trophy you earn gets you one step closer to completing all 30 Skill Points and unlocking the Skill Master trophy. Refer to the Planet Specific Trophies section of the guide for details. As a side note, when you visit each of these planets again, you may want to collect the Titanium Bolts located there to save yourself from returning later. After wrapping these trophies up, go ahead and defeat the final boss and enter Challenge Mode. Step 3: Skill Points Now is a good time to focus on Skill Points. These can be found under the 'Special' menu. Refer to the Skill Master trophy for details on obtaining all Skill Points. Step 4: Collection Trophies & Clean Up The main thing left now is to purchase and upgrade everything. Continue collecting bolts to unlock They Never Stop Comin'! which will help you in upgrading all weapons to earn Omega Man . You will most likely need to find all 40 Titanium Bolts (Thorough ), purchase the RY3NO (RY3NO(S)) and max out your Nanotech (Nano Finder ). Be sure to head over to Annihilation Nation and wrap up the challenges there too. Again, search the guide for details on how to earn each trophy. wottagunn
Story Related Trophies 'Nefarious No More' Defeat Dr. Nefarious in the Final Battle Defeat Dr. Nefarious in the Final Battle. Impossible to miss. See below for boss walkthrough. Spoiler Before facing Nefarious, make sure your most powerful weapons are upgraded to at least v4. The best weapons for this are the Plasma Coil, Agents of Doom, Bouncer, Splitter Rifle, Megaturret Glove and the Decimator, as well as the Shield Charger. Ensure that you have the Gadgetron PDA, which can be found in Qwark's Hideout, as it allows you to purchase ammo wherever you are. You'll start off in a circular area facing Nefarious. His attacks are simple, but very effective. First he'll send out a hologram at you, then bullets, and finally he'll send a shockwave at you. Jump and strafe to avoid all of these attacks without too much difficulty. Use Miniturrets and Agents of Doom to help you with this part of the fight. Fire at him using your weapon of choice while avoiding his attacks, and once he has lost a bit of his health he will flee. Follow the path to face a number of other enemies, including Tyhrranoids and robots. Use you Shield Charger here to avoid taking damage, and kill all of these enemies as you see fit. As you approach Nefarious, he will fire a blue laser at you that can be avoided by running in the same directions as it. You are the same speed as it so as long as you don't change direction you won't take damage. Some Rangers will join the battle to help you on the bridge. When you approach Nefarious, he will fire a volley of missiles that fall from the sky which can be avoided by watching the ground and running. Nefarious will repeat the same attacks as before in this new area, as well as two new attacks; he will fire that blue laser at you again, as well as his missile attack. Focus your best weapons on him, while keeping up a steady supply of Shields, Agents of Doom and Miniturrets, and using your PDA whenever you need to, and eventually Nefarious will fall and flee to the final stage of this battle; The Biobliterator. Credit goes to NovaDon130 for the following video. 'Biobliteration' Defeat the Biobliterator to complete the game Defeating the Biobliterator will conclude the game. Impossible to miss. See below for boss walkthrough. Spoiler After "defeating" Dr. Nefarious, he will transport into the Biobliterator which will then transform into a giant robot. Jump into the hovership next to you and focus your fire on the Biobliterator. It will have two attacks; firing straight missiles and heat-seeking missiles. Avoid the straight ones by strafing, and heat-seekers by moving towards Nefarious. Keep your fire on him, and with the help of Captain Qwark, the battle should soon be over. If your hovership is destroyed, you can simply use your Splitter Rifle to finish the bot off, or if you prefer there is another hovership located across the bridge to your right. Credit goes to NovaDon130 for the following video. Planet Specific Trophies 'Stay Squeeky Clean' Complete the "Path of Death" on Florana without taking any damage This is a Skill Point. You must complete the "Path of Death" avoiding all damage. The most difficult section is the fire jets, but you are not timed in this challenge so take your time memorizing the fire and rock patterns and you should be fine. Credit goes to StillTheCinema for the following video. This trophy starts at the 0:00 mark. 'Monkeying Around' Hit Skrunch the monkey twice with your wrench on the Starship Phoenix This is a Skill Point. Skrunch the monkey is running around the bridge area of the Starship Phoenix. Simply chase and hit him twice with your wrench to get this trophy. 'Reflect on How to Score' Kill 25 enemies with the Refractor on Marcadia This is a Skill Point. Just as the description states. I recommend doing this before reaching Metropolis as the Tyhrranoids will become stronger after that point. Just kill everything you see with the laser beam and you will get this with little trouble. Credit goes to StillTheCinema for the following video. This trophy starts at the 1:18 mark. 'Bash the Bug' Defeat Scorpio with only the wrench in Annihilation Nation This is a Skill Point. This must be done in the Annihilation Nation challenge titled simply "Scorpio". To do this, avoid Scorpio's saw blades and dash in close to him in between attacks, hitting him with your wrench. If you stay close to him throughout the battle, he will keep trying to back away from you, thus rendering him unable to attack. Do not use the Shield Charger/Tesla Barrier during this challenge as you will most likely damage Scorpio with it thus voiding this trophy. 'Qwarktastic Win' Complete the Qwarktastic Battle in Annihilation Nation The "Qwarktastic Battle" appears in Annihilation Nation once you have nearly completed all other challenges. It is a 100 round challenge consisting of three boss fights. At round 50 you will face bosses Gary and Helen, and at round 100 you will fight Scorpio. I recommend you attempt this with some great armor and upgraded weapons, especially the Quack-O-Ray. The Rift Inducer can help, and the Plasma Storm and Annihilator work well on the bosses. For rounds 1-65, use only the Quack-O-Ray. It uses no ammo, it does not really have to be aimed, and it kills all enemies instantly. At v2, the converted ducks lay eggs that also kill enemies very easily. At round 65 your weapons will start cycling, that's why it is handy having upgraded weapons. Ammo can be picked up around the arena when it is needed. For the final 30 or so rounds, use the Shield Charger and bring out the Agents of Doom and Megaturrets. These, along with your favourite weapons, will end the challenge very quickly. After 30 or so minutes, you will finish it; it is not as hard as it may sound. This Challenge is easier than the Impossible Challenge of Ratchet & Clank 2. For your efforts, you will be awarded with 200,000 bolts (2 million in Challenge Mode) and this silver trophy. 'Eight Time Champion' Complete all 8 Gauntlet Challenges on Annihilation Nation This is a Skill Point. Simply complete all 8 Gauntlet Challenges in Annihilation Nation. This is easy and fun to do, plus you will get rewards for doing them. Gauntlets are the death-course ones, such as "Crispy Critter" and "Cremation Station". 'Flee Flawlessly' Complete any Gauntlet Challenge without taking any damage This is a Skill Point. You must complete any Gauntlet Challenge without taking damage. I recommend "Crispy Critter" as it is the easiest challenge. Just run through it and avoid the enemies. Use the Shield Charger/Tesla Barrier for added protection. wottagunn
'Search for Sunken Treasure' Destroy all underwater crates on Planet Aquatos This is a Skill Point. There are 40 explosive crates in total that you must detonate, spread across two areas. Whilst underwater, simply swim up to the red crates, lightly touch them, and then swim away to avoid taking damage. Do this to all 40 crates and the trophy is yours. Easy. Credit goes to StillTheCinema for the following video. This trophy starts at the 4:27 mark. 'Hit the Motherload' Collect all 101 Sewer Crystals on Aquatos This is a Skill Point. In order to collect all 101 sewer crystals, you must have the Gravity Boots. I highly recommend tackling this once you have the Map-o-Matic as it shows you the locations of all of the crystals. Having some powerful weapons helps too. The Plasma Coil rips straight down the tunnels and deals massive damage, and the Qwack-O-Ray kills all enemies instantly, even the large Ameboids. Just follow the tunnels and your Map-o-Matic, killing all Ameboids on the way, to eventually collect all 101 sewer crystals. This may take you a while (45-60 minutes) but it shouldn't pose too much of a challenge. There is some ammo and health in the center of the sewers if you need it. Note: the trophy + skill point will not unlock immediately once you have collected all 101 - you must trade all of the crystals in to the Plumber and watch the cutscene before your trophy pops. 'Bugs to Birds' Convert 15 Blood Flies into Ducks on Daxx This is a Skill Point. Blood Flies are the little red and yellow bugs. Take the path into the mountains and use your Quack-o-Ray on 15 Blood Flies to unlock this trophy. Credit goes to StillTheCinema for the following video. This trophy starts at the 9:03 mark. 'Get to the Belt' Jump up onto the Asteroid Belt on the Obani Moon This is a Skill Point. Find the tallest tower and use the jump pads to get to the top of it. From that tower use the pad to jump towards the asteroid belt. You must land on a flat asteroid to get this trophy. It may take a few attempts but this isn't too difficult. Credit goes to StillTheCinema for the following video. This trophy starts at the 7:30 mark. 'Feeling Lucky?' Hit the jackpot on a slot machine in Holostar Studios This is a Skill Point. This is totally based on luck. Hit the slot machines and hope for a jackpot. It is best to play multiple machines at once to reduce the time you spend on this. If you happen to destroy all of the machines as Clank, there are some during the Ratchet portion of Holostar Studios. 'It was a Very Good Year…' Destroy a Blimp flying around Metropolis This is a Skill Point. Destroy the Blimp flying around Metropolis. The blimp is gray, and is more round than a normal blimp would be. One good shot from your Flux Rifle is all it takes to destroy it. It may take a little while for the blimp to appear, so be patient. 'Suck It Up' Kill 40 enemies with the Suck Cannon at the Crash Site This is a Skill Point. I recommend upgrading to the Vortex Cannon before attempting this as it can get quite difficult at times. Suck up the small silver robots and fire them at the larger blue ones. Not much else to say really. Just stick to using the Vortex Cannon and eventually you will kill 40 enemies and earn his trophy. 'Go For Hang Time' Get 2 seconds of air with the Turbo-Slider on Aridia This is a Skill Point. This is very easy. When driving the Turbo-Slider, build up speed and go for one of the steep dirt inclines/ramps to launch off them and get this trophy as soon as you land. Credit goes to StillTheCinema for the following video. This trophy starts at the 8:54 mark. 'Zap Back At Ya'' Kill 10 enemies with your Refractor Gadget on Aridia This is a Skill Point. Use your Refractor to reflect the Mech-like Tyhrranoid's lasers back at them. Kill the smaller Tyhrranoid's first as they are weak. This is easiest to achieve in the first mission on Aridia. 'Penicillin Anyone?' Infect 30 enemies with the Infector Gadget on Mylon This is a Skill Point. Make sure you have upgraded the Infector to the Infecto-Bomb before attempting this. With the Infecto-Bomb, just run through the level infecting every enemy you see. This can be a little difficult but it certainly is manageable. 'Break the Dan' Destroy the Snowman at Qwark’s Hideout This is a Skill Point. The Dan is hidden very well in this game. I recommend finding him once you have the Map-o-Matic to make it easier on yourself. He's located up on a ledge before jumping across two ice platforms along a small icy stream (this is the area where you had to Hypershot over to it and then deal with a pack of Qwark-Bots and a sweeping laser.) Well instead of jumping across the ice platforms, look to the right of the wall and you should see a large crevice that can serve as a jump slot. Double jump to it, but DON'T glide (Ratchet's feet won't stick to the wall if he's gliding), and as soon as you are inside the jump slot, start jumping up. You'll find Dan up top. Hit him with your wrench to earn this trophy. Edited March 1, 2023 by Viper
wottagunn
Collect/Obtain Trophies 'Thorough' Obtain all 40 Titanium bolts Top tip: After completing the battle mission on Metropolis, you will be awarded with the Map-O-Matic. This device highlights secret areas on the map in green. These secret areas generally hold a Titanium Bolt, so go from planet to planet and visit all 'green' areas on your map to pick up all Titanium Bolts. This will make finding them a lot easier. Titanium Bolts are collectible items hidden within the game. Many of them are tricky to find and require certain gadgets in order to reach. Titanium Bolts allow you to purchase special upgrade skins for Ratchet & Clank. Here is a list of how many are on each planet (planets that aren't listed don't have any gold bolts on them): Planet Florana - 2 Titanium Bolts Starship Pheonix - 7 Titanium Bolts Planet Marcadia - 3 Titanium Bolts Annihilation Nation - 2 Titanium Bolts Planet Aquatos - 5 Titanium Bolts Planet Tyhrranosis - 2 Titanium Bolt Planet Daxx - 2 Titanium Bolts Obani Gemini - 2 Titanium Bolts Holostar Studios - 3 Titanium Bolts Zeldrin Starport - 2 Titanium Bolts Planet Metropolis - 3 Titanium Bolt Crash Site - 1 Titanium Bolt Planet Aridia - 2 Titanium Bolts Qwark's Hideout - 1 Titanium Bolt Planet Koros - 2 Titanium Bolts Command Center - 1 Titanium Bolt If you need help finding a particular Titanium Bolt, then see below. Spoiler For a text Guide, see this one by DaFaztFingaz: LINK For those of you that prefer videos, StillTheCinema has provided these video walkthroughs: 'RY3NO' Attain the RY3NO Gadget The RY3NO (Rip You 3 New Ones) can be purchased in the Nabla Forest, Florana during Challenge Mode ONLY, for 3,000,000 bolts. At first it fires a volley of 8 missiles that home in on enemies, and when upgraded it fires up to 16 missiles. Once upgraded to the Rynocirator it will fire such a huge volley of missiles that all enemies on screen are disintegrated instantly. 'Nano Finder' Get Ratchet’s Nanotech up to 200 (Maxed out!) Ratchet's Nanotech maxes out at 100 during the first playthrough, and can be upgraded to 200 in Challenge Mode, so you are required to beat the game at least once in order to get this trophy. You increase your Nanotech by killing enemies. After playing through the game twice you should have a max Nanotech of 200 and this trophy, but if not just run through Planet Koros and the Command Center, Mylon, a few times. 'Mini Ratchet' Find the Ratchet Trophy This is the first trophy you can obtain in Up Your Arsenal. The Ratchet Trophy is found on Florana, after wall jumping between two walls, go into the opposite room as the ladder at the top. From there, go straight ahead to the very edge and turn left. You will find that you can walk on the side of the building. Now jump onto the wheel thing and then onto the other side to grab the Ratchet Trophy. Credit goes to 2YinYang2 for the following video. The Ratchet Trophy is found at 0:06. 'Secret Agent Clank' Find the Clank Trophy The Clank Trophy is at Holostar Studios. After regaining control of Ratchet at Clank's trailer, continue through the game until you get to the lift that requires the Hacker. At the top of the lift, turn left and you will see a ledge with a trophy on it. Jump over and grab the Clank Trophy. Credit goes to 2YinYang2 for the following video. The Clank Trophy is found at 0:29. 'These Things Keep Comin'!' Collect 1 Million Bolts You must have 1 million bolts banked at one time; this is NOT cumulative. See the "They Never Stop Comin'!" trophy for more information. 'They Never Stop Comin'!' Collect 10 Million Bolts Note: Use one save file only. If you choose to save on a new game file, your bolt progress towards this trophy will reset. You will still retain the amount of bolts you had in-game, but the trophy tracking will not see it this way. Collect 10 million bolts. This is cumulative if you retain the single save file. After defeating the Biobliterator, the game will propose that you enter 'Challenge Mode', make sure you choose to play it. You will be at the start of the game again, but you will have all the weapons, bolts, Skill Points, Titanium Bolts and Nanotech, as well as your Charge Boots, Map-o-Matic and Bolt Grabber v2 that you earned from your first playthrough. There are a lot of changes made to Challenge Mode. Enemies are extremely strong, and you can now upgrade weapons to the level 8 Omega status. Your main concern here though is the "Bolt Multiplier". When you kill enemies in Challenge Mode, the Bolt Multiplier will go up. You can see the Bolt Multiplier in the top right corner of the screen. It will start at 1x, and the maximum it can reach is 20x. When you're hit by an enemy, the Multiplier will go back to 1x. If you can keep it at 20x you will earn huge amounts of bolts. 10 million bolts at any given time is quite a bit because you will be tempted to spend it. I recommend purchasing the Infernox armour and upgrading only 3 or so of your favourite weapons to Mega (Shield Charger and Plasma Coil especially). That should be enough for you to defeat most enemies and get through the game. Please note that Arena challenge rewards increase tenfold too, with the Qwarktastic Battle awarding you 2 million bolts if you beat it. Please Note: There have been many reports that all 10 million bolts need to be banked at any one time, but also reports of the opposite as stated above. There has not been one definitive/sure answer. For me, I had to collect all 10 million, whilst others have unlocked this trophy at 4 million for example. Due to this confusion, if you know you have collected 10 million bolts (by gut feel; there is no in-game statistic) and you do not have this trophy, then reach 10 million banked up and the trophy will unlock. wottagunn
Miscellaneous Trophies 'Skill Master' Attain All 30 Skill Points Skill Points are extra little challenges within the game that unlock bonuses for you and are found under the 'Specials' menu. They will appear hidden and will only give you a location and hint on how to obtain them. Complete all 30 of these challenges to unlock this trophy. There are 30 skill points in the game to complete, 18 of them are trophies in the game so you will have majority of them by going for other trophies. I will list a guide here for the 12 that aren't trophies: Starship Phoenix Beat Helga's Best Time Complete the VR Hypershot training course in under 50 seconds This is not possible the first time through due to the hacker puzzles. Just run through the course a few times to get in some practice and you should be fine. Grapple onto the swingshot points as soon as you can to shave off precious time. Turn Up the Heat Purchase the Infernox Armor The Infernox Armor is only available after completing the game at least once. It costs 1,000,000 bolts to own. Set a new record for Qwark Complete Vidcomic #1 in under 2:40 This record is easy enough to beat if you wall jump through the elevator. It may take some practice, but once you get that done, it's quite simple. Set a new record for Qwark Complete Vidcomic #2 in under 2:10 This one is fairly straightforward too. Just try not to miss any of the moving platforms and do not stop to fight every enemy. Just hold down the flamethrower and move on through. Set a new record for Qwark Complete Vidcomic #3 in under 1:50 This one is all about staying alive, and it can be tough. Just watch your health and keep moving. Best to do this one after getting the health upgrades in the other vid-comics. Set a new record for Qwark Complete Vidcomic #4 in under 4:45 There is one simple trick to this one. After the first zip line, there is a Q block section. Fall off after the second Q block and you will end up where the third zip line drops you saving you a lot of time. Now continue through the course. You should have enough to time to even die to Dr. Nefarious. Set a new record for Qwark Complete Vidcomic #5 in under 2:00 This is the most difficult one. There are no tricks to help you get there faster. Just keep going and try not to die. You should just barely make it in time. Annihilation Nation Lights, Camera, Action! Destroy 5 floating cameras while in a gauntlet challenge Pick any gauntlet challenge and simply shoot down 5 of the floating cameras littered around the coarse. Tyhrranosis Be a Sharpshooter Snipe 10 Tyhrranoids off of their towers in the open area There are 3 Tyhrranoids on each tower. Use the Flux Rifle to kill them. Range doesn't matter. Blackwater City Bash the Party Dispose of 20 enemies using only the wrench This is easiest on the last mission; Part 3: Counterattack. Use your knowledge of how to avoid their attacks and you should be fine. Of course, use only the wrench. Crash Site Aim High Kill 10 Skreeducks These creatures fly and look like Pterodactyls. Use your Flux Rifle to down 10 of them. Koros You Break It, You Win It Smash everything in the Robot's base The Bolt Grabber really helps. Just go through the level doing overhead smashes with the wrench (+) and before long this Skill Point should unlock. For a text Guide, see this one by DaFaztFingaz: LINK 'Omega Man' Get all the Omega Weapons including the Rhynocerator For this you must first obtain all 20 weapons (19 + RY3NO) and then upgrade them all to their strongest variation; Omega (v8), or in the RY3NO's case, the Rhynocerator (v5). The upgrade path is as follows: Normal -> v5 -> Mega -> Giga (v7) -> Omega (v8). You will need to use each weapon extensively in order to upgrade it to v8, as well as spending several bolts to upgrade them to the Mega status. Mega weapons can only be obtained in Challenge Mode, so you must defeat the final boss at least once in order to purchase them. The complete upgrade path is below. The cost in bolts is in parenthesis: Shock Blaster (Free) -> v5 Shock Cannon -> Mega Shock Cannon (420,000) -> v7 Giga -> v8 Omega Shock Cannon Nitro Launcher (Free) -> v5 Nitro Launcher - > Mega Nitro Launcher (380,000) -> v7 Giga -> v8 Omega Nitro Launcher N60 Storm (15,000) -> v5 N90 Hurricane -> Mega N90 Hurricane (460,000) -> v7 Giga -> v8 Omega N90 Hurricane Plasma Whip (7,500) -> v5 Quantum Whip -> Mega Quantum Whip (180,000) -> v7 Giga -> v8 Omega Quantum Whip Infector (18,000) -> v5 Infecto-Bomb -> Mega Infecto-Bomb (220,000) -> v7 Giga -> v8 Omega Infecto-Bomb Suck Cannon (8,000) -> v5 Vortex Cannon -> Mega Vortex Cannon (100,000) -> v7 Giga -> v8 Omega Vortex Cannon Spitting Hydra (40,000) -> v5 Tempest -> Mega Tempest (540,000) -> v7 Giga -> v8 Omega Tempest Agents of Doom (60,000) -> v5 Agents of Dread -> Mega Agents of Dread (660,000) -> v7 Giga -> v8 Omega Agents of Dread Flux Rifle (75,000) -> v5 Splitter Rifle -> Mega Splitter Rifle (340,000) -> v7 Giga -> v8 Omega Splitter Rifle Miniturret Glove (25,000) -> v5 Megaturret Glove -> [Mega] Megaturret Glove (620,000) -> v7 Giga -> v8 Omega Megaturret Glove Lava Gun (40,000) -> v5 Liquid Nitrogen Gun -> Mega Liquid Nitrogen Gun (260,000) -> v7 Giga -> v8 Omega Liquid Nitrogen Gun Annihilator (150,000) -> v5 Decimator -> Mega Decimator (580,000) -> v7 Giga -> v8 Omega Decimator Holo Shield Glove (30,000) -> v5 Ultrashield Launcher -> Mega Ultrashield Launcher (140,000) -> v7 Giga -> v8 Omega Ultrashield Launcher Disc Blade Gun (175,000) -> v5 Multi-Disc Gun -> Mega Multi-Disc Gun (500,000) -> v7 Giga -> v8 Omega Multi-Disc Gun Rift Inducer (180,000) -> v5 Rift Ripper -> Mega Rift Ripper (780,000) -> v7 Giga -> v8 Omega Rift Ripper Qwack-O-Ray (200,000) -> v5 Qwack-O-Blitzer -> Mega Qwack-O-Blitzer (300,000) -> v7 Giga -> v8 Omega Qwack-O-Blitzer Bouncer (150,000) -> v5 Heavy Bouncer -> Mega Heavy Bouncer (740,000) -> v7 Giga -> v8 Omega Heavy Bouncer Plasma Coil (250,000) -> v5 Plasma Storm -> Mega Plasma Storm (820,000) -> v7 Giga -> v8 Omega Plasma Storm Shield Charger (250,000) -> v5 Tesla Barrier -> Mega Tesla Barrier (700,000) -> v7 Giga -> v8 Omega Tesla Barrier RY3NO (3,000,000) -> v5 Rhynocerator If you are finding that upgrading weapons takes you a long time, just fly between Planet Koros and the Command Center, Mylon killing all enemies there. They offer huge experience. The Holo Shield Glove is the least enjoyable to level up. For a great method on upgrading it quickly, refer to the video by Harry94. 'Friend of the Rangers' Complete every battle mission Battle missions are short missions that require you to help out the Rangers in their attacks against the Tyhrranoids. Some of their missions are story related and can not be missed, but most of them are optional. You must complete all of the optional missions in order to unlock this trophy. Use your experience from normal play and you should be fine here; use your most powerful weapons when needed. All optional Battle Missions can be completed at any time, so if you are having trouble with a particular one come back and attempt it when you are stronger. Every Battle Mission will reward you with some bolts. Refer to the list below for each Battle Mission that you must complete. Marcadia Secure the Area Air Assault Turret Command Under the Gun Hit n' Run Thyrranhossis Assault on Kavu Island Fight over Kavu Island Operation Thunderbolt The Final Battle Blackwater City The Battle of Blackwater City The Bridge Counterattack Metropolis Countdown Urban Combat Tower Attack Air Superiority Turret Command Aridia The Tunnels of Outpost X12 Ambush in Red Rock Valley Assassination Reclaim the Valley X12 Endgame 'Strive for Arcade Perfection' Get all Qwark Tokens (100%) on all Vid Comics This is a Skill Point. In order to unlock this trophy, you must collect all Qwark tokens scattered throughout each level as well as all health power-ups you come across. You are not timed so be thorough. There is not much else I can say about this. There are 5 Qwark Vid Comics in total. 'Keep the Temperature Low' Get the Snowman Skin You need 4 Titanium Bolts to unlock the Snowman Skin via the Specials Menu. 'Hero of the Galaxy' Obtain All Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal trophies Earn all other Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal trophies to unlock this Platinum Trophy. Well done. Dark-Soldier2123
I don't see my self using this very much, but great guide anyways. I'm sure the new players would find this very useful.

Cheers, but I know what you mean. Anyone that played the game on PS2 shouldn't really need a guide.
benjamin1802
These videos arent good :/ Use my videos instead, they uses in-video descriptions, and its easier to watch because its seperated in multiple videos (one for each planet), and it includes the titanium bolt locations Channel: Ben-Gun - MADE FOR THE GAMERS! - YouTube

DV2FOX
Ben,it's me,HLRCelty on Youtube...prepare to get some views from me...RIGHT ON RnC3!!!!!! (yep, got RnC1 n 2's platinums) I'm gonna play the game normally...but will focus on the skillpoints and T.Bolts to tick em away from my To-Do list...also because the "IMPOSSIBURU" challenge on RnC2 wasn't that eaaaaaaaasy to reach on Challenge Mode (kill X enemy without being hit, with the grenade spam they throw at you?!?!..Nope!,do the IMPOSSIBURU challenge on Normal game and you're set!) Good lord the bolt's x20 makes you reach the million in less time...need to finish this game to finish the trilogy and move on to drawing..also "The House Of The Dead Overkill PS3"

geroldhulahoop
Firstly, Awesome guide, really helped me out. Secondly, I just got my , my last trophy was Omega Man, upgrade all your weapons to Omega. Not sure if any one said this but I did not upgrade the weapons from R&C1 and R&C2. So I don't believe you need them for the trophy.
