I didn't have this by the end of my playthrough on hard, but after I get all collectables and stuff, if I still do not have it, can it be earned on Challenge Mode?

I'm not sure (as I understand it, a few trophies are locked during challenge mode, not sure about thrifty). I was lucky enough to get it, right before the final boss.

However if you dont get it, surely you must be pretty close? Is it not worth repeating a few rounds in the arena until you get it, as a precaution? Would suck if you ended up needing an extra playthrough, because the trophy is locked.

If your not sure how much bolts you still need, but have bought every weapon and armour upgrade in the game, then that accounts for 604,000 of your total (unless you have the tools of destruction discount) so you can get a rough estimate of how much more you need.

I ended up getting it while going through the tournaments.
I wasn't sure how close I was to getting it.

It's all good now.
Half way through challenge mode, and almost got my plat!
