Starkey's races

So from what I understand i'm completely fucked on Obsessive Compulsive.

The checklist for obsessive compulsive says that I need to do the starkey races. HOWEVER, i've never even seen the guy until suddenly I find him in subway town - 'Hey sonny ya wanna race'. So I head back to wellspring to do the grill and cuprino races, but he's nowhere to be found. I check around the wiki and the Starkey's challenge 'quest' is, and i quote:

"Confirmed that you cannot do this immediately after getting the Cuprino."

Am I screwed or not? are these races necessary, because he has apparently moved his business to subway town, and the only race I can do is the monarch race, thus eliminating my earlier race options with him. The trophy guide never mentioned his races as missable.

Edit: I did the stanley monarch race, and it didn't add anything for OC. I finished up all the races and got 'Rage Cup', and each race added 1 to OC. will see if I get OC when I finish the game.

Edit #2 : I got OC. the only starkey race I was aware of doing was the Monarch race, but I guess I raced him for the cuprino aswell. Didn't do the 'grill race'. Had 126/130 before starting assault on authority bridge.

yeah that's the wiki i linked from = P i'll find out soon though. kinda annoying that I might have to '100%' this game twice because I missed something so minor.

Yea the obsessive compulsive is whack is misleads you when your near then end.

Can anybody confirm the OP's findings?

I unfortunatly missed the first challange starky is still in wellsprings but won't talk to me at all. I have finished all other races in Wellsprings and Subway Town except the ones that require a Monarch to race. As far as I understand the problem I will not be able to race Starky until my story progress unlocks the Monrch Challange.
So can anybody advice on the situation or confirm that this problem will solve itself?

I read the guide already, but it does not really answer the question since it states that starkys challange is mandatory for OC. But really it is not. I can verify the OP's post. Starkys challange (magnum) is not needet for Obsessive Compulsive.

I changed that a while ago. Many confirmed Starkys races don't count towards OC.
