Road Map

Quantum Conundrum is a first-person puzzle game where you have to use the environment and the force of four different dimensions to get through each map. You play the nephew who is on an unexpected visit at his uncle's, a brilliant scientist called Fitz Quadwrangle, mansion. However, an experiment goes wrong and the uncle is trapped in another dimension with no memory of what happened, it is up to you to find a way through his enormous mansion to power up the generators in order to save him.

To help you succeed your uncle guides you throughout his mansion. You can use a special glove to alter dimension and thus control the environment.

Step 1: Complete the game once
Just play through the game and most of the trophies will pop as you progress through the chapters.

Step 2: Collectibles and random trophies
At this point you probably only need to get ah, finally some peace and quiet; did a thing; explorer of all roads. That leaves you with the map specific challenges in step three. Should you miss another few trophies get them during step two as well.

Step 3: Map specific trophies
Now all you need is the map specific challenges i.e. In less than 12 parsecs; honor student and Still alive. Go to chapter select. It will show you the four chapters and the maps in each chapter. Check out each map to see if you mastered or failed the challenges. If you failed a challenge in a specific map, replay it till you master it and then you are done.

Tip & Tricks
  • This is a puzzle game, use your imagination to find the solution.
  • Find a blueprint and get access to Fitz Quadwrangle R&D room - it's a great place to practice using different dimensions.
  • Can't solve the puzzle, try another dimension.
  • Chapter select can be used to check out your stats.
  • If you are planning to get 100%, don't worry too much about Still Alive, you will get it when you go for the in less than 12 parsecs - simply because it is very hard to beat the time if you die (see trophy guide for requirements).

Trophy Guide

Well, look what you found there
Picked up your first Collectible

See Ah, finally some peace and quiet.

Ah, finally some peace and quiet
Collected all Collectibles

There are two types of collectibles; one, in the shape of a little robot thing that plays a sound and another that’s a blueprint. From the chapter select screen you can see which you are missing and which map they are in. There is also one collectible in the R&D room.

The collectibles are easy to find. Most of the time they are out in the open and easy to spot, however a few of them you must go out of your path to find them. Often you have to use your glove to alter the dimension and use the environment to get to them.

Should you have trouble finding the collectibles, then Maka made this Youtube guide: Quantum Conundrum Collectibles Playlist - It also gives suggestions how to get other trophies.

In less than 12 parsecs
Achieved Goal Time on all maps

In the chapter select you can see which map you didn’t achieve goal time on. It also says the time limit you must beat to achieve goal time on each map. According to DarkSeraphim666 it is not enough to equal the time, you must beat it.

For help with this, see here: Goal Time and Shifts Goals Guide

Honor Student
Achieved Shifts Goal on all maps

In chapter select you can see which map you didn’t achieve shifts goal on. It also says the maximum amount of shifts between dimensions you can make throughout the level. It is enough to equal the amount of shifts.

For help with this, see here: Goal Time and Shifts Goals Guide

Did a Thing!
Used the 'Do A Thing' menu item

After completing the game you get to use the "do a thing" menu, from the main menu.

Nuclear Nooby
Picked up the IDS device

Story related, cannot be missed. You will get this trophy early in the first chapter after picking up the IDS device.

Dimensional Drifter
Powered up the first generator

Story related, cannot be missed. After powering up the first generator and thus completing the first chapter – The Blue Wing – the trophy will pop.

Symmetrical Sojourner
Powered up the second generator

Story related, cannot be missed. After completing the second chapter – The Yellow Wing – the trophy will pop.

Peerless Perambulator
Powered up the third generator

Story related, cannot be missed. After completing the third chapter – The Red Wing – the trophy will pop.

Extraordinaire Extrapolator
Powered up the Uber-IDS

Story related, cannot be missed. After completing the fourth chapter – The Uber-IDS – the trophy will pop.

Big Meanie
Knocked Ike over with an object

There are several chances throughout the game. I found it easiest in chapter three "choose wisely". When you break the glass to get the IDS battery, knock him over with a heavy cardboard box or a safe.

Still Alive
Made it through every level at least once without dying

In chapter select you can see which maps you didn’t complete without dying. Redo the map until you get it right.

Explorer of All Roads
Solved 'Choose Wisely' by choosing each battery first

Choose Wisely is a map in chapter three. You have to replay it four times where you start out with either the fluffy, heavy, anti-gravity or slow battery. You must finish the map for it to count.

Art Major
View your portrait in all dimensions

The first time you have all four battery powers available at the same time, there is an opportunity to get this trophy (chapter 3, through the glass flooring). Otherwise you can also get it at the R&D room after finding all the blueprints.

Testing the Fences
Break 20 panes of glass

This is as easy as it sounds, just break 20 panes of glass. It can be done with safes or heavy cardboard boxes etc. This will happen eventually during your playthrough. I got it halfway through chapter one.
