Introduction

The game is not too difficult to platinum. Most of the trophies can be earned offline, while a few have to be earned online. The only missable trophy is the “No Messing” trophy, which requires you to finish the world tour with a maximum of 42 events. If you fail to do so, you will have to restart the entire world tour.

Walkthrough

STEP 1: World Tour while focusing on the “No Messing” trophy

The first thing you should do is begin your world tour while going for the “No messing” trophy. See the introduction and trophy for details on the trophy. The world tour at the beginning is very simple as the AI is absolutely horrid. As you progress through the world tour however, the difficulty will increase and the AI will become much more challenging but by that time you’ll be better at the game. The world tour comprises of 10 stages each with different events. Once you have completed the world tour and have successfully obtained the “No Messing” trophy, move on to Step 2.

It should be noted that it is very necessary to focus on the "No Messing" trophy, otherwise you'll have to delete your save file and start the world tour all over again, which is a major pain.

STEP 2: World Tour Cleanup

There are quite a few trophies linked to finishing first in all the events of all the stages of the world tour. In this step this is exactly what you will do. See “Completed Stage 10” in the guide for more details.

STEP 3: Combo/ Trick Related trophies

In this step you will focus on the combo/trick related trophies. I suggest you do most of these on Sandy Mountain. Freestyle is a great way to practice combos/tricks you're having difficulty with. Remember that performing special tricks is a great way to increase your points. Most of these trophies are easy except for “Two Time” and “Tricked Out”. See both the trophies in the guide for details.

STEP 4: Miscellaneous Trophies

In this step you will go for the miscellaneous trophies which include trophies related to building ATVs, winning with each engine type in world tour, "Comeback Kid" and other related trophies. "Comeback Kid" is the only difficult one here. See the guide for details on the easiest way to obtain this trophy.

STEP 5: Online Trophies

There are only 4 online trophies, 3 of which can be obtained in one go, while the other one has to be obtained separately. See "Online Champ" for details. These days it is very difficult to find anyone playing online as hardly anyone plays, so I suggest you find a boosting partner through this thread:Trophy Boosting Thread

Trophy Guide

Finished an event
Complete an event.

Very simple and straightforward. Simply complete any one event in the world tour and you'll have this trophy.

Completed stage 1
Place first in all four events in Stage 1.

See "Completed Stage 10".

Completed stage 2
Place first in all four events in Stage 2.

Completed stage 3
Place first in all four events in Stage 3.

The world tour is divided into ten stages, each stage having 4-7 events of different types. The various types of events include: freestyle, sprint, and circuit. Each stage has a combination of these events. There are 10 stages in total. Each stage has a trophy linked to them for placing first in all the events in that specific stage. Sprint and circuit events are comparatively easier than freestyle events, so I suggest you start off with those and then go for the freestyle events.

1 of a kind
Build an ATV from scratch in the garage.

Very simple one. Go to garage and you should see your available ATV's. There will also be empty slots. Chose one of these empty slots and begin working on your ATV. After you've completely finished modifying the ATV and it is finished, you'll have this trophy.

Fully loaded
Unlock and then fill all ten ATV slots in the garage.

Similar to "1 of a Kind", but instead of building 1 ATV you will have to build ten. There are only ten ATV slots in the garage, but only 2-3 are available at the beginning of the game. By the time you reach stage 9 in the world tour, all 10 ATV Slots will have been unlocked. Then, all you'll have to do is fill the slots up by building ATV's.

Mechanic
Build five ATVs, each with a different engine.

You should go for this trophy while going for "Fully loaded". There are many different engines to choose from. Just make sure you put a different engine in each ATV and you'll have this trophy.

Flawless lap
Complete a lap of a Race event in World Tour without dismounting.

Dismounting means falling of your ATV. For beginners this can be tricky, but it is a fairly easy trophy. I suggest you practice on a small race track, mastering all the jumps and turns. Once you're sure that you're ready, go for it.

Flawless event
Complete a World Tour event without dismounting.

Similar to "Flawless Lap", but instead of completing a lap of an event, you will have to complete a whole event without dismounting. See "Flawless Lap" for tips.

Nice combo!
Perform a combo of at least 50,000 points.

A combo is when, during a freestyle event, you chain a series of tricks/special tricks together that give you points. Each time you land a trick, the score you've made will multiply by 2, but after landing your second trick, the multiplier only increases by one. 50,000 points is not as hard as it sounds. Special tricks can net you 2500-7500 points if done correctly, and depending on the amount of times you repeated them. Special tricks are tricks that are insanely difficult and earn you the most points. To perform a special trick, press and simultaneously when the trick bar is full and press the left analog stick in any direction

You reckon?
Pull a special trick on a sprint track.

To perform a special trick, press and simultaneously when the trick bar is full and press the left analog stick in any direction. Choose a sprint track with a big jump and perform a special trick using that jump. Best track to do this is on Alto Vista.

Hang time
Spending 150+ seconds in the air and win the same event.

Here is an easy way of obtaining this trophy. Select race event and choose SANDY MOUNTAIN as the track. Set it to ten laps. SANDY MOUNTAIN has the most amount of jumps and the biggest jumps; by the time you reach your 10th lap you should have this trophy.

Learner driver
Lap another rider in an offline sprint track event.

This is quite simple. At the beginning of the game, the AI's are pushovers. There are very easy to beat. Select sprint and choose any track you're comfortable with and set it to 5 laps which is the maximum. Laping another rider means being a lap ahead of him. Since the AI is crap you'll get it done within the 5 laps.

No pain, no gain
Crash ten times and still win an event.

For this select race and choose SANDY MOUNTAIN as the track. Set it to 10 laps. You will have more than enough time to crash/ dismount of your ATV, catch up to the AI and win the event. After the event is complete and you won, this trophy is yours.

Full speed ahead
Hold down the gas for the entire event and finish in first place.

For this trophy you have to hold down the gas () for the entire event. You can brake, as long as you are still holding down . Easiest done on a small sprint track.

Show off
Win a Race or Sprint event and cross the line while doing a Wheelie on every lap.

To perform a wheelie, while accelerating (holding ), pull back on the left analog stick. Do so while crossing the line on every lap of a race/sprint event (preferably 3 laps) and you'll have this trophy.

Win online
Come first in an online event.

See "Online Champ".

Tricked out
Perform every normal trick in a single World Tour event.

This is probably the most time consuming and annoying trophy in the whole game. You have to perform all the NORMAL tricks in the game. Special tricks are not required for this trophy. There are 48 tricks in total. These include all the and variations of the , and tricks. A list of all the tricks can be found below. This is most easiest done in ghost creek in stage 1 or 2.

This list was made with the help of Clickaus' initial list. I made my own adjustments and modifications.

Specialised
Perform 8 different special tricks in a single World Tour event.

Each rider comes with 8 special tricks: 1 Unique trick, and 7 shared tricks. Perform all of these in one world tour event with one character ( Sandy Mountain) and you'll have this trophy. My advice is that you choose a race event in Sandy Mountain. Each direction on the left analog stick, when combined with and , creates a different special trick. The Unique Stunt of each rider is performed by pressing + + . The other 7 shared stunts are performed with the remaining seven directions on the left analog stick. A table showing all the characters' unique tricks and their special tricks, is below.

Freestyler
Extend a Freestyle session past the third lap.

This is not as easy as it sounds. In a freestyle event, you have a fuel bar. This fuel bar gets refueled each time you perform a trick. For this trophy you will have to perform enough tricks, so that you have enough fuel to last you till the beginning of the 4th lap. Best track to do this is on Octillo Wells.

Triple flip
Pull off a 1080 forward or backward rotation in a single jump.

I suggest doing this on the big jump in sandy mountain. To perform a triple flip, as soon as you leave the ramp, pull back on the left analog stick twice and hold until three rotations have completed. Land the jump and the trophy is yours.

Sick combo!
Perform a combo of at least 125,000 points.

See "Nice Combo!".

You're special!
Perform every special trick in the game.

Each rider comes with 8 special tricks: 1 Unique trick, and 7 shared tricks. Perform every special trick in the game for this trophy. For a list of the special tricks see "Specialised".

Grease monkey
Earn a 1st place with every engine type in World Tour Mode.

For this you will need to come first with all 5 engine types.

Make 5 ATV's, each with a different engine type. There are a lot of different brands of engines to choose from. Just make sure you use a different brand of engine in each ATV. Use each of these 5 ATV's on different tracks (preferably sprint tracks) and finish 1st. After doing so, the trophy is yours.

I did three sprint races in the first group. I used the same bike and just changed the engine (manufacturer; sparks, alba, FMF, etc). After the third race it unlocked (since I skipped over the engine it was on and another one I knew I had used).

Comeback kid
Come from last place on the last lap to win a race event in World Tour Mode.

This should be done at the very beginning of the world tour, when the AI is horrible because as you progress through the game the AI becomes more difficult making it extremely difficult to obtain this trophy. I suggest you do this in stage 1 on Glamis.

NOTE: If you have already gone through most of the world tour, where the AI is more difficult, you can use this method found by RedEye420 to reset the AI back to its horrible starting state. Re-do the tutorial (go to tutorial, hit to "repeat qualification" and re-do the tutorial. This seems to reset the AI back to it's awful starting state. Win the race until the final lap, then wait at the starting line until you are 16th. You should have saved up all the boost you earned from tricking the first two laps. It only took me three tries on this map but I couldn't get it after many tries on Sandy Mountain and Ghost Creek.


Fresh air
Win a Freestyle event with Fresh tricks only.

Fresh tricks are tricks that you have only done once throughout the entire freestyle event and have not repeated. It is quite easy actually. Chain as many tricks as you can, to get the highest amount of points. If you run out of fresh tricks, simply crash and all the tricks get refreshed and are once again "Fresh".

No messing
Complete World Tour Mode while participating in a maximum of 42 events.

This is the only missable trophy in the game. For this you will have to move on to the next stage in the world tour as soon as it is unlocked and so on and so forth until you complete the world tour, for which you need 112 tour points. The list below will guide you on how to go about the events.

Stage two - 32 of 64 tour points (two event wins) needed to unlock stage three
Stage three - 48 of 64 tour points (three event wins) needed to unlock stage four
Stage four - 48 of 64 tour points (three event wins) needed to unlock stage five
Stage five - 64 of 80 tour points (four event wins) needed to unlock stage six
Stage six - 64 of 80 tour points (four event wins) needed to unlock stage seven
Stage seven - 80 of 80 tour points (five event wins) needed to unlock stage eight
Stage eight - 96 of 96 tour points (six event wins) needed to unlock stage nine
Stage nine - 96 of 96 tour points (six event wins) needed to unlock stage ten
Stage ten - 112 of 112 tour points (seven event wins) needed to unlock Trophy

Zero to hero
Aquire a special trick within 30 secs of a Race starting.

Easiest done on Ghost Creek (Thanks RedEye420). Hit the , and tricks as soon as they become available so that you can obtain the special trick as soon as possible. Here's a video showing how to do it.

Two time!
Perform two special tricks in 1 jump.

This is the most difficult trophy in the game. This can only be done on the big jump in Sandy Mountain. I did this by doing 2 x Twister with Jay Valdes. Although many people have said that the easiest way to do it is 2 x Air Guitar with Jay Valdes. I recommend that your ATV be customised so that its speed and trick attributes are the highest. Underdog
Use a class D engine to beat an opponent with a class A engine in a ranked match.

This is nearly impossible to do genuinely. You will need to do this trophy with a boosting partner. There are not many ranked matches, as there are hardly any people playing online so you and your partner will easily find each other.

Online champ
Come first in a online championship.

This trophy, "WIN ONLINE" and "5 in a Row" can be obtained at the same time. Set up a 5 race championship (only sprint events) with the minimum amount of laps (3). Find a boosting partner through this thread:Trophy Boosting Thread and tell him to lose each race. By the end of the championship, you'll have all 3 of these trophies.

Killer combo!
Perform a combo of at least 250,000 points.

See "Nice Combo!".

Come first in every event in the Pure World Tour.

This will be obtained once you've obtained the trophies for completing stages 1-10. See "Completed Stage 10" for details.

After ending the freestyle i was 7th. But i click X. I got for this event 10 points. So my questions are: Can i still got "No Messing" trophy even if i suck up the event? And can i replay it? Must i start all over again?

I am at 9 stage.

As stated in the guide, you have to win every event, in order to obtain the maximum of 16 points and to stay on track for the "No Messing" trophy. So I would strongly advise that you try coming first in this event. You can still get the "No Messing" trophy IF you place first in the freestyle event that you just did.

Thankyou. Second one actually. Did one for guitar hero metallica yesterday. It is pure luck and you'll need a whole lot of patience.

I am sure as I did it many times. All it does is get you more tour points if you finish in a higher position.
