Has anyone here been able to earn the Platinum medal in this event?

I got 115 so far, but for Platinum, you must get 140+ ... basically meaning, you must wipe out all of them with two jumps in each round. It's very easy for round 1 and 2, but in round 3, I can't even hit every target, not speaking of doing so only using two jumps.

I also wonder if there's a way to hit every target in round one using only one jump.

Is there even any reason to get platinum in these? There is no trophy and I doubt you need more than gold for the rewards. As for the answer, I would wait until my Hammerfist is fully powered up because I m having problems with the second one where the soldiers are in "X" patterns.

Do you even need gold for the reward? Anyways, I'm trying to get platinum in these challenges for the joy of it, so no, not a trophy related request.

Hammerfist is full upgraded, it's just that it requires super accuracy for the third round, I guess.

I recently got the platinum in it, but I got it on the Xbox, not PS3. I presume it should work for PS3 too.

Alright, Round 1 has to be done in two dives. Cannot be done in 1.
Round 2, two dives as well, this should bring you up to 84.

Round 3, there should be an inner circle, and a outer circle thats more spread out. What you going to want to do is go for the the ones furthest away from you. I know, it sounds weird but it worked for me
Don't go for the middle of the circle, but a little bit above it. You're gonna want to try and get dead centre.

Now, do the exact same except with the other circle. Remember, not the dead centre, a little bit below it for this time.
Basically, you're trying to get a semi circle for each circle.

Then, try and get the middle of the area between the two semi circles.

Round 4 and etc are the exact same.

I got silvers and bronzes and got the reward, IDK if it will matter for the later sets and/or getting the Mercer skin though, it seems to me that getting gold/platinum/beating your friends scores is purely just for bragging rights.

Oh, I didn't realize there would be a fourth round, I thought it's always over after round 3. Then getting all the points won't be as tough as I thought, thanks for the hint.

I can't find myself to getting Plat medals on the Collateral Damage events, only have Gold in both of them. I got platinum medals in both the Recovery events so far though, I love those events

Yes, it's quite a shame they were taken out of the game and put into Radnet instead:

(a) No trophy for them. (Though a lot might be thankful for it.)

(b) Have to wait for them to become unlocked. (Maybe staying offline and changing the system date would be a work-around?)

I also think it's weird there isn't like one new event each day (as I recall Radnet having been advertised like) but instead a few every few days.

Ontopic: Still didn't get Platinum there, can't get the aiming right.^^

Edit: Also, how do you know you're 22nd to plat [P2]?

I tried changing the date to see if that'd work even though I knew it wouldn't, & Well, it didn't. & As for being the 22nd to plat, Whenever I get a platinum, I go to psnprofiles.com to update my trophies on the site, So when my trophy list updated I clicked on [P2] to see how long it took me, Which was 2 days and 1hr, and it had said there were 22 platinum achievers, Hence, Me being 22nd.
