Tips for Super Star & World Footballer of the Year

After 3 trial seasons of BAL, I finally got these trophies and its easier than you think. There's probably an even easier method, but here's how I got it (for what its worth):

*Bought all the BAL expansion packs from "Extra Content" except the one that cost 600 GP
*Selected and edited Diego Milito before I started my BAL to 109 overall (I realized later that choosing Milito was a mistake. I believe his age cost me the Mr. Versatility, Proud Skipper, and League Best Eleven trophy. As well as the fact that I didn't play in all the season's fixtures - explained below)
*Set BAL settings to Beginner and 5 min. halves (everything else set to off)

*Year 1 - NOTE: I started playing in September and stopped playing in December, so that's only half a season.
-League: Played only away fixtures and simmed the home games (as there's a good chance that you'll probably win your home games)
-Domestic Cup: Played all games
-UEFA Champions League: Played all games
*Estimated Total Games Played: 10+3+6=19

*Year 1/Season's End
-America Cup (Argentina National Team): Played all games
*Estimated Total Games Played: 4

*Estimated Total Games Played in Season 1: 19+4=23

*I scored a minimum of 3 goals per game (maximum of 5) and set up a minimum of 2 assists per game (maximum of 3) - which will most certainly give you an 8.0 rating in each game.
*By the end of the season, make sure you are Top Scorer and Assist Leader in League, Domestic Cup, UEFA Champion's League, and Your National Team (Not International) Cup
*Now sim Season 2 until you get your Super Star and World Footballer of the Year trophy


EDIT: Keep an eye on when your contract expires (especially if you want to progress further that 2-3 seasons), because in my first BAL season I chose Messi and decided to sim all my games until I got to the International Cup season (AKA season 3) only to find that my BAL season ended because I didn't extend my contract or sign for another club in time

Yeah I found accidentally not extending my BAL contract ended my career too, I was very surprised, since in the previous PES you would always get an offer, but not this time , just lucky that I made a save before the end of the season.

I'm currently working towards world player of the year and I'm attempting to play the entire of my players next season to try for team of the season and potentially captaincy and skill, if not try a new BAL for the latter two.

I just completed a season. Played the first 10 league games, a few cup games, all the champions league games except one in the group stage. Season 2 i start skipping it and i get the Super Star and Footballer of the Year trophies but not the League Best Eleven... i got top scorer and top assists on everything, league, cup, CL, even played and won everything in the Euro 2012. -_-

And does anyone know anything about the Proud Skipper and Multi Talented trophies?

The multi talented trophy should be easy and one of the first you should get in BAL

Really? That is get a new skill. How do you get a new skill? I played as Ronaldo...

You have to select Messi,, Beofre starting a new Bal you have to go to the EDIT MODE AND SE ALL THE STATISTICS OF mESSI ON 89,, ALSO YOU MUST remove all of his skills,,

Play a match on Bal, do tricks with the right analog stick, avoid your opponents with the "square" followed by "Cross" move, keep the ball on your feet and you will have the trophy by the end of the match

You don't even need to be Messi to get this trophy. Just play one game and score and assist as many as you can. It really is that simple

You have to play some matches before getting it the "usual" way, with your player. However, if you pick Ronaldo or Messi and unselect their skills, you will get it waaay faster. I got mine by playing with Ronaldo after 2 matches.

I think it's pretty random when you get it and what skill you get. I got "Long throw in" and all i did was toying around with the right stick, shooting, scoring and assisting; never did I once do a throw in

I tried both methods suggested in this thread, but I managed to get it in one match with Messi (edited to the maximum 109) and removed all of skills but gave him every position. I managed to score 4 and assist 4, then when the match ended I had direct play skill and every match thereafter I've unlocked another skill. Try it out, hope it works for you.
