Hey guys, ive been putting off the prince of persia trilogy because i started warrior within on hard mode and can barely make it through most of the fights. Does anyone know any really cheap/overpowered/easy combos for the enemies that can make the game easier for me? much appreciated if you do, i seriously suck at this game

Enemies on hard take ages to kill. The lower classes can be pretty easily killed with a double weapon attack like square-triangle-triangle. Ninjas and wrath guards can be chipped away with wall lunges (press square while moving the stick towards a wall).
As far as cheap moves, with no second weapon you can hit triangle-triangle and attempt to throw enemies over ledges and down gaps. If you're just trying to beat hard, leave the weapon kill trophies for an easier playthrough. I got all three kill trophies without much drama on hard. But still, flight rather than fight can save you, especially on the later levels. |

So I too have started this game on hard and are getting my bushy tail kicked hard most of the time, but with trail and error you'll get through and the next playthroughs will be a lot easier as you already did the game on hard. My tip, study the bosses and the way they attack, then use it to your advantage, like the S/M one you encounter first, keep blocking until she screams and raises her swords, sheĝll attack once more and after that just keep hitting until she blocks, quickly block and just keep doing this, sometimes you might jsut be able to hit her once, but you will get her and if done right without any loss of health at all. //WhiteWolf |

When I did my hard mode playthrough I ran past pretty much every enemy that I didn't have to fight, it made things a lot easier and faster, so I would advise you to do the same.
As far as combos go, if you're near a ledge(they're everywhere, it's PoP ), just grab them and throw them off, if not, x.[].[] and wall run>[].[] are probably the cheapest/safest combos in the game, the latter can usually kill most enemies in two hits if you have a secondary weapon. For the empress, if you do x.[].[] on her, she'll start a combo immediately after that, hold the block button and walk backwards to avoid it, and as soon as she finishes her combo(with a low sweep), go in and x.[].[], she'll always do the same combo again, so just repeat until she dies. The same applies for Shadee but obviously she's much easier. |
