By my experience in trophies like these I would say the two thrones one would act the same way, but of course I can be dead wrong, its just the "rational" assumption to make.

Since the trophy lists for both games were probably made by same person/team (I mean, they have similar trophies with similar concepts to unlock them, if not the same) then I'd guess both trophies should have been designed to act the same isn't it? Unless of course that Two Thrones does have a hidden autosave while Warrior Within doesn't

Anyway, I'm just brainstorming, haha never played Two Thrones before so I can't be sure

Just one person says that it unlocked for him anyway. Instead we all had the same issue. Seeing the continue screen disabled our trophy. Just follow what the guide says, that way you'll get the trophy for sure. Here you can't see the screen. On WW you can. The fact that both games were made by the same team doesn't mean that the trophy must be the same. They might have messed up the trophy without intending to.

Also in WW you can use sand to bring yourself back to life and still unlock trophy. It can be different for many reasons. Mainly that it's a different game It hasn't been changed at all apart from HD addition and trophies so they are in their original state pretty much. Therefore WW and TT act different and you can't assume a trophy will unlock the same way for both as I found out the hard way

I've got plat on Warrior Within and got the trophy even while getting the Continue screen and reloading a save, so I must admit I'm confused too...
Anyway, since you need to do 3 playthroughs, you can just try on one to be sure, that's what I did and it worked.

I also noticed that the chests from my first playthrough have counted for my second playthrough (the trophy popped 3 chest before the end of my 2nd PT, and I collected those chests on my 1st PT).

One more time: on WW you can see the continue screen and still get the trophy. On Two Thrones you can't see the continue screen as it compromises the playthrough.

We are not talking about WW. This is not a thread about WW, it is about Two Thrones. They are not the same game so there is nothing to be confused about. Following the guide will make you get your platinum.

OK, so I've been trying something on my easy playthrough and it worked.
You CAN get the Continue screen when you die, but when you get it, exit the game via the XMB and relaunch the game and your save, this way the trophy Sand Snake won't be locked.
I don't know if it glitched (the right way) on me but it did work.

Also just for the record, several times my health bar went to zero before I rewind time.

Good i'll edit the guide and make it more accurate even if in the end it's safer to avoid it.

I can confirm that this method works.
The game auto saves at the moment that you choose Retry or Quit at the continue screen. So dont choose any of them, just exit the game via the XMB.

Thanks for the hint on how to complete the double boss battle, this was the only part of the time that i got frustrated with. Whereas in Warrior Within i was constantly annoyed

I just got Sand Snake (and platinmum) on my 4th playthrough. It would not unlock even tho i used xmb to quit the game when i died on my playthroughs on easy and normal. I just reinstalled the game, deleted all saves, and went for it again. Then I got it.
