The guide on the trophy list part of the site does NOT have a video for this trophy. but the forum section does. Here is an excellent one that explains exactly how to do it. It is by the same author as the one linked in the guide for the "Untouchable" trophy.

Wish I would f known about this last night when I was going for my platinum, though I already had my stone armor at lvl 4 so it was still pretty easy to get.

Yes it does. It worked for me and I just got the trophy like 5 mins ago...after beating the game once a few hours ago.

I just hit "Continue" and it put me right back at the final fight.

Does this technique work for the Untouchable trophy?

I'm on my 2nd play through and I'm maxed out, so I'm wondering if I use my level 4 stone armor against the 1st fight with him, will that work?

I don't think that this will work for the Untouchable trophy because the game autosaves during the battle and then right after; so if you were to go to "Continue" from the menu, you would actually start at the next chapter of the game rather than at the beginning of the boss battle.

I really recommend using the save file technique. It really isn't that difficult and there are some great instructions in another thread for how to do it.

it is true, but i think by the time you reach the final boss, you pretty much have all the abilities to beat him, as the only upgrades you really need for the boss are: stone, normal attacks and maybe energy boost.

You dont need to fully ugrade to get this trophy,, you only need to upgrade your stone armor to get it...Sure you can upgrade some other stuff to help you, but honestly you wont need it..
