There are a few techniques you pick up over playing the regular levels that I can't replicate by showing you a video or using words - just what you get used to doing. I find holding L1 and Circle all the time really help me (knowing what towers are where in their cycle, and moving faster). Different towers dont just upgrade power, they upgrade range, firing rate, damage, and spread. When you're new, it seems random, so there's no substitute for playing the game thru and failing hundreds of times to know exactly what needs to be upgraded, what needs to be danced on, and what needs to be built when and where. Lastly; the game is balanced HARDCORE difficulty for single player. Play two player to get an idea for the game and everything will be MUCH easier (2x the people upgrading and thinking is a good thing for me).

Good news! I'm back in production! Seems the crash / borked harddrive messed up not only all my saved videos on the ps3, but mirrors edge demo, and most importantly, my pjm save file. Trophies themselves were intact, but have to beat the missions again to get speed potion and landmines.
Another little while and I'm back in action!

I only bought this game for trophies, and i sucked at first. Give it a few days or in this case a few helpful videos (which may i add are totally awesome and have helped me through 3 stages so far) and you will start to pick up the gameplay. The game is more about trial and error. Take earlier for example, i was trying the "black flag" trophy and the first try i had about 10 towers. I failed to upgrade the last tower and therefore didnt get the trophy. 10 minutes later i tried again i only made 9 towers this time, and i completed it. If you have hours to dedicate to it, purchase it and 100% should be in reach. If not go for something a little easier.
