Default WHAT?!? Pinball Arcade DLC tables DO NOT include new trophies?

UPDATE:

Farsight IS adding Trophy support in July or August:

The Pinball Arcade We realize many users enjoy achieving trophies on PSN. We plan to add the following trophies on PS3/Vita for ALL DLC tables (previously released and future tables) in the July or August update:

Top 5 high score: Bronze
Table #1 high score: Bronze
Complete Standard goals: Bronze
Complete Wizard goals: Silver

I'm glad Farsight has decided these are important to many players and I'm also happy they answered my Facebook post about it instead of ignoring it like most companies would do.

+1 for Farsight!

If I understand these things correctly, the responsibility for allocating trophies (or, more accurately, trophy points) would lie with Sony rather than the developer or publisher. If that's the case, then it's a very odd decision from a company that claims to be putting all its weight behind the Vita and has acknowledged that the main audience for it is the existing PS3 owner.

What's even more odd is that they are including Xbox Achievements for the 360 version. It's pretty much a kick in the ass for PS3 owners who've been supporting them.

Farsight obviously doesn't really care for trophies. It was pretty obvious with their last game, Williams Pinball Hall of Fame Collection which was a retail disc game without a Platinum trophy.

They may know their pinball game, but I don't think they know their gamer nearly as well.

I've been trying to tell them this stuff since 2008. I told them we care about bug fixes, online support, ability to play music from out XMB and they've all been ignored. With ZEN Pinball 2 coming out I'm afraid for Farsight. I've been supporting them on just about every platform, and even donated money to their Kickstarter fund, but I'm not convinced they are listening to us.

They are just rushing out as many tables on iOS and Android as possible, while their original fans (console fans) get lost in the shuffle.

Their PSN release of this game has had nothing but problems. First a trophy sync issue when Pinball Arcade debuted, then I had to delete and reinstall the game to play the new DLC because it wasn't showing up, and now this. Until they get their act together, Farsight won't see another penny from me.

I do have to agree with the trophy part. As for the trophy points is concerned, Pinball Arcade just released...and they only have 12 trophies so far. They're no where near the cap yet. They could have implemented it. Although I would play these games without them, I still think that the achievements/trophies are important to those who favor virtual incentives. It's all good. I have this on the ios, PS3, Vita, and 360. It makes me no difference. I just feel bad for the rest of the PS3 owners who complete these goals and can't show the world what they have accomplished. Anyone that can complete Ripley's wizard goals definitely deserves some praise.

I already have the Williams Collection. Why would Farsight think i'd pay for Medieval Madness and Funhouse a second time especially if there are no trophies for the tables? The trophy selection for the WC was a bit weak anyhow, and now there's none for tables some of us already have.

I've heard word that the PA versions of MM and Funhouse don't play as accurately as the WC versions of those same tables. The flippers felt laggy and a little too "sticky" making post-post flipper swaps REALLY tough to perform. Worrisome to say the least when you hear about no trophies and physics feeling worse.

The tables on TPA are much improved over the Williams Collection versions. Funhouse especially has better lighting and looks/plays amazing! Well worth the $2.50 price to have improved versions where you don't have to pop in a disc to play a quick round of pinball. Once we have online tournaments and other added features it will make the value even better.

Trophies are going to be added to ALL DLC in a month or so that's no longer an issue. See top post.

I haven't noticed any lag at all. I'm not sure why people are having this issue. All I can suggest is to make sure your TV (if HDTV) is on a game mode or all the extra filtering and digital enhancements are turned off.

I haven't noticed lag either. The only lag I've seen was on Black Hole when the ball would sometimes lag when you hit it, and/or when it was rolling down to the flippers.

It appears that the update fixed a lot of the bugs in the original four tables. I'm no longer experiencing any hiccups on the Black Hole table.

Yeah, I thought it was better. Glad to know it's not just wishful thinking.

I still think Farsight should list what bigfixes they are applying with the updates so we can keep track. It would also show all the hard work they are doing behind the scenes.
